Stars are for the Employee Angell.(westland/merriman&cheryhill) I had to grab a few things & she was working the U-scans today. She is a very pleasant person. She was helpful, naturally smiling & talking with people. She had to help someone towards the line area but still wished everyone that she had passed a good day. Stay cool, Angell. We still need the kindness of people like you around us. I hope your day stays great!

They have cars parked in the grocery pick up that have no people in the cars due to them shopping inside which lead to a long line of cars waiting for pick up parking spots. When I called the pick up line the employee did not care and told me to wait without addressing the problem.

Not even worth a star.....once again the self checkout worker (Angell), she is extremely rude to customers. There was a guy with his light flashing waiting for her help and she just completely ignored him and when u could hear him say "hey excuse me" and went to the lady next to him and told him "u have to wait" and said it extremely rude and the guy just went off on her. I would have done the same thing! Ive been told off by Angell twice myself. Then i called the store and the store manager is just as rude if not worse and he hung up on me after i tryed telling him what happened, so im calling corporate at this point! If u dont like ur job then get a different one and stop taking ur attitudes out on the customers! Extremely poor customer service! She needs to be fired or something, seriously unprofessional and they lost my business

The cashier Sharron (self checkout) is so rude everytime I come in there. I had a coupon and because she had to stop doing whatever she was doing to help me she gave me attitude. Then I hear her give another person attitude because they were getting gift cards and again she had to stop whatever she was doing to help with them.
Not our fault the self checkouts are the only thing open this early. Also not our fault you don't like your job.
I only shop at this Kroger once in a great while and everytime it's a issue.

Last 5 times I have been here, customer service has not been open or available and any representative behind the counter will absolutely ignore you. 830 am or 430 pm, you might as well not bother getting any money services from here.

Apparently you can’t cash in lotto tickets at this location. Because the only person that can cash them in has to work the register. I was told no one can help me to come back later. Your loss Kroger I’ll spend the $50 at a different store. I’m damn sure not driving back in the chance you might be open to serve me.

Happen on 10-22 around 4 pm. Kroger at merriman and Cherry Hill. They have the rudest black cashier on the u-scan. I had total $38.90 in bottle slips. I went to u-scan, I purchased a big bag of pedigree dog food. I don't have a Kroger card. So I ask the clerk to put in the store number. She said we don't do that. Which they always do, at every Kroger I go to. It came out 23.90 without the Kroger card. The clerk came back over again with attitude. I hand her my bottle slips. She went through them. Pick out three of them. Told me she couldn't take the rest. My limit up to $25.00. I don't usually do the bottle thing. My son does. But back her swiping the tickets it left a balance of 1.89 I had to pay. So she didn't scan $25. In bottle. I said that's doesn't make since. You have to take another bottle slip. She refused to scan a $2.10 slip. I need to pay the rest. So I stood there about 3 minutes. She told I had to leave or pay it. So I pay it, with my debit card. Then I went to another cashier to get the rest cash. The white woman cashier was going to take it. But the rude cashier told her NOOO....
Then a white guy next cashier, she screams Noo to him.
So I heading to service desk, their is a customer there. Mean while, that cashier called the service desk told that black kid working there, not to take my bottle slips. He didn't, I ask to see someone, she was behind me. Reply their busy. Then the black kid at the service desk, told me go to the one down the road on Michigan Ave cash them there. She told him be quiet. So I'm going out of my way to cash these slip. I get to the other Kroger, that dam cashier called there, told the service desk not to cash my bottle slips. I was dress in black and blonde hair. So the service desk seen me coming in. Heading to the desk. He called for a supervisor. He told her that the other store told me not to cash them. So I had to go over everything with her, the manger stroll up. He heard everything. I show him my receipt that I purchased the dog food. That there was two other tickets I could of used not going over $25.00 limit. He said I'll cash them for you. He stated it not like you purchased a candy bar wanted all cash back. He was overwhelmed , That cashier actually call here to warn us about you. You spent your limit, for the day. He apologized to me, that the supervisor said that the clerks do put store number in for no Kroger card. Only if the customer ask for it. I really appreciate the Kroger on Michigan Ave in Westland correcting the situation.

I was shopping at this Kroger on Merriman and Cherry Hill and I was profiled for being a black male. I went to self served pay for my groceries. Bag them walked out with my buggy and when I got to the doors, my buggy automatic locked and I seen the security guard kept circling why I were shopping, when my buggy locked, the security guard came with some type of device and unlocked my buggy to look and see if I had a receipt for my groceries. Never apologized or anything for profiling me as a thief never shopping there again And the children that they have work in there smells like marijuana. They talk on their phones and they curse like there’s no customers in front of them horrible place.
