There wasn't one associate on the Second Floor. Went to check on blinds, but had to go to the package pickup area to find anyone. Was told the sales person is off on Saturday and Sunday. I'm hoping to still find out if the sale is still going on for blinds and get a discount on Monday. I have no idea how they are staying open. I hope they continue to stay at Westland Mall.

While I enjoy shopping here, I also have a real complaint about this store and the way they constantly push you to open one of their store credit cards.
When I am ready to pay for my purchase with my normal Amex card, the cashier will ask if I want to open a new charge card and usually there is any offer of some discount to do so. I always politely decline because I just don’t want another card - but the cashier just keeps on hounding me to open a store account. Sometimes they even start taking an application and ask for my Social Security Number and income.
I’ve been told that the cashiers are trained to ask you three times to open the store account. This is highly annoying, so PLEASE tell them to stop after the customer says no.
When I say no - I mean NO!! The next time this happens I am leaving my merchandise at the counter without purchasing anything.

Went to my local store to shop for winter clothes, but why bother if they don't want customers in the store anyway. At least that's how they treat you. As if you're going to make a mess before you even touch anything. I get it, they don't want extra work, but I clean up after myself! As usual, I left and went to Kohl's. I won't bother with this JCpenney anymore unless I get desperate and order online. One positive is that the package pickup is easy. But of course it's upstairs and at the back of the store. It just seems like they make no effort to make it a decent shopping experience anymore. It doesn't cost anything to at least be nice to people trying to spend money there. Just sad.

Visited the store today to look for these sale shoes. They say online that they are not available. After I located them I waited in line only to be told that they would not honor the online price and no coupon worked with them. In store they were $14.99. Left the 2 pairs I was going to buy at the register and went down to Kohls. The manager there is ruining your business.

Every time my family and I go to this J.C. Penny the associates are always rude as hell. They don't know how to treat their customers and should be grateful people even stop in to shop. I'll be glad when they all lose their jobs once the mall closes down. I will not be returning to this location until they re-train their employees on how to give proper customer service which I doubt will ever happen.

Disappointed when I picked my order up in the store and I wasn’t satisfied because you can clearly see the stains in the pants are very visible, instead they sent out anyway !

I was recently conducting my back-to-school shopping at this store, and a manager named Tiffany was incredibly rude to one of her employees, Carmen. It appeared that Carmen was fairly new and timid. She saw me waiting in line with my daughter and began to assist her colleague, who was also ringing up another customer. Yes, I was the only one in line; however, she screamed, "HE DOESN'T NEED HELP RINGING UP" Her open rebuke was so forceful Carmen had a physical reaction and jumped. She appeared so embarrassed as she continued to complete her transaction with me. She was in the middle of collecting my funds. I was shocked and did not want to confront this angry woman in front of my daughter. She needs to understand that a top-down approach to management is not always the best approach. It was clear this employee was being bullied by this manager. I hope she get the professional development she needs.

My wedding ring lost a diamond and we took it in to get repaired. The insurance couldn’t fix it but long story short, Jason was amazing and fixed everything even when we were thinking it couldn’t be. It may just be a normal forgettable day to him but for me he made a huge impact by getting me my wedding ring back on my hand. I couldn’t be more thankful
