Didn't have any fine thread or even anything above grade 8 in strength in stock. If I wanted grade 8 I could go to Lowes or ebay. Worthless in house selection for what I'd expect to have the premium hardware.

It's pretty bad when you go to Fastenal to get some 5/8 fasteners carriage bolts they don't carry them but Home Depot does. Yeah probably won't ever go to that store again

Let me start with this, I have had several experiences at this fastenal and all were bad. Employees have no fastener knowledge, I have had to explain the purpose of what a thumbscrew is to an “experienced employee”. My biggest issue is when they tried to up charge me when I was doing my college senior project for a special needs camp. One of the bolts I needed was online through fastenal for $0.33 and they wanted to charge me $4.70ish. Which is wild. They wouldn’t match their own online price, it was frustrating. I had to help the customer in front of me to explain what they needed because the fastenal employee couldn’t understand what lock nut they needed.

Beats Home Depot for hardware, online and commercial accounts, seem to be commonplace. It is a screws, nuts, washers, and bolts.Assorted safety equipment and power tools and hand tools. This is not a hardware store, no lumber and trade tools. I would recommend calling first before venturing to their location.Friendly help, just seem to have a lack of knowledge of inventory, essentially if it's not accessible by computer inventory then doesn't exist.Future orders will be phone orders and delivered.
