My family and I have been coming here for a couple years now. The owners are fantastic however the store has declined in my opinion since they have stopped being the primary workers. Several times I have been in to buy lottery tickets and realize when I get home that they have not even been activated by the store. In buying my tickets I realized that they are selling their ticket rolls backwards from how Michigan lottery is supposed to be sold. In my most recent purchase of a $20 ticket on Thursday evening, I won $100. Because the store never activated the tickets(as is common), I would have to drive to lansing to cash or mail it in and wait a better part of a month for my money to come in. We called the store several times to ask them to fix it or at very least cash it out as it was their mistake and basically stole $20 from me for a ticket they refuse to honor and pretty much made useless. We left a number and the young man working there has been nothing but rude to my fiancé and I about the ticket. From taking our number to harass us about something he has no intention of fixing saying his uncle was there and would be fixing it, to my fiancé calling back to talk to the owner and him placing the phone down and picking it back up to change his voice as though he was the person that was asked to speak to. We have it a last ditch effort this evening by calling to ask for an update and had the phone hung up on us by the young man. I will not be back to the store to shop again and would caution anyone buying lottery tickets there to find another place to get them if you want to see your winnings.
