There is NO BETTER place! Connie is excellence. I have been coming for years. We tried other places and my dogs got matted. Now, problem solved. And, Connie is a champion in the dog show world. She is masterful and an incredible human being!

Do NOT do NOT take your pet there the first thing they're gonna do they gonna keep ur dog for 8 hours since I took my dog there he's been so sick and he's been in a lot of pain. I have no idea what they did to him.The owner Is so rude and I’m sure she’s mean to the dogs I will never recommend this place I wish I never took him there, and read reviews before I took him they should not be in business. Do not take your pet there. I had to take my dog to the hospital 3 times and he still not doing well. Im not sure what they did to him, I’m not sure if he’s gonna make it:(He was absolutely fine full of health before we took him after they called us after 8 hours he’s not been the same.

If you want no nonsense, no frills, but a great cut for your dogs, then The Trim Shop is for you. I have lived in the area for 17 years and never really noticed the shop. I was looking for a new place to take my two little dogs (Bichon and Poodle mix and a Shih Tzu and Poodle mix). They did a great job. They only take cash. I dropped them off at 8 am and they were ready by 1:30 pm. When I picked them up, they were happy and very friendly with the groomers and Carol. I will be going back. I have found a new place very close to home. A hidden gem in West Bloomfield.

After several years of using the Trim Shop I was told that they're too busy to trim my dog. No explanation. Poor customer service.

Called and a woman named Connie answered the phone I told her I was new, and calling to get a price quote for a bath, brush, and blow out for my dog. She first said sure, I heard paper rustling which I assume was an appointment book, and then was asked what breed. I told her a flat coated retriever, which while they are rare, are no different than grooming a golden retriever. I was also not calling about a hair cut at all. Her tone changed, and she said, and I quote, "you know what? We're actually not taking any dogs." Which if it were the case, why would she have asked the breed and and sure when she first answered the phone? Not sure if this place don't do just baths and only show dog haircuts or something, but a retriever is not exactly a difficult animal with which to work:..they love baths, snd there's nothing to cut. So looks like I'll be taking my business elsewhere, to a place actually offering the services they advertise. Shame for them, I have two large relievers I get bathed monthly who's business will now be going elsewhere. Oh well, someone else's gain!

Went in to ask about pricing since 5hey do not have a website or Facebook. It is close to my house so thought it would be a good fit. Place was filthy when I walked in. Was informed by owner that she is too old and to busy to accept any new clients because all of her clients were faithful to her. Good luck lady! Also there was a sign that they do not take credit cards. Found that suspicious for a business

They are the greatest! Connie, also is soO knowledgeable about an immense variety of doggie issues pertaining to the health of our fur babies. She has had a long career in grooming, as well as showing doggies professionally.

We take our dogs here and they get treated like kings. Connie makes sure to take special care of all the furry friends that are brought there. Sonic and Finny get awesome cuts, some needed manscaping, and they smell great when they get home. Highly recommended.

Stopped taking my dog there after many years. No plans on ever returning. Unfriendly staff. Impatient with customers and their pets. Injured my dog and didn't call to let me know when it happened. Never followed up to see how he was. Not the kind of place you want to take your beloved pets to and trust that they will care for them in your absence.

NEVER NEVER NEVER go there if you want to see your pet looking as you requested it. We took our little girl there and she has not been the same since. Not only did they shear ALL her hair off ( and only a trim was requested), but they kept her there for 9 HOURS. Wish I had read the reviews before we took her there.

Connie is the greatest. I love Connie and her shop. My favorite local groomer and very skilled. She exceeds her grooming by knowing when patients need medical help. A good choice for any pet owner.

I am so disappointed in this business. Third time they’ve scheduled an appointment and cancelled without calling me. I waste more time driving there to be turned away than actually using them. No apology or offer to reschedule. I tried to give a local business owner another chance, but hard to justify when the same issues happen.
