Have bags of treats with sign that say"Ask for samples." So you ask an Employe for a sample. "Are you buying anything?!"Very strict about giving small items of samples away to customers.You have to spend so much to receive certain items.My favorite pet store leaves samples out for customers to decide which they want.

Prices are right about what you’d expect, but the staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. Mike has done so well with his stores; and he hires/trains happy employees. Way to go on adoption events too! And, I have to add how fun it was to have Winston, the tortoise, in the Beverly Hills store for so long.

Lots of items in premier pets . Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I've been to quite a few of his locations. Premier pets deserve a 5 star rating. If you can't find it there he will get it for you. Thank you Mike Palmer!

My daughter was employed at this store from 2021-2022, so this review addresses the owner Jeff’s bizarre interpersonal and administrative behavior rather than the quality of the store’s products and services. Jeff would launch frequent tirades at his employees, who were generally high school kids, for very silly things such as using too many latex gloves cleaning out the animal’s cages, or failing to ring up customer discounts properly. He used angry phrases, in person and text, such as “sick and tired of telling you”, threatened to dock paychecks and refused to purchase necessary equipment for employees to do their jobs. Thus, his anger management and failure to retain employees were, and I imagine still are, constant issues. My daughter enjoyed working there, except for her dealings with Jeff. When he made the decision to let my daughter go, without explanation, he outsourced the task to his manager to relay the news. Couldn’t even bring himself to explain why in person. Again, the store is nice, with quality products and smiling faces when you enter…but needless to say I would not recommend your children work here. The guy simply has issues.
