Dr. Brad Schumaier has been really great. He is our 2 Shiba Inu's only vet. They have not seen anyone else since they have been born. Recently, the oldest one has gotten through anxiety/behavior issues of some sort. Which has been really stressful for us and I'm sure for our baby. Nonetheless, he, the Doctor is really patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate, and we are glad he is familiar with the breed. I don't even think there are many DVM who are.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience today. My senior dog was at the end of his life and we decided to put him to rest instead of letting him suffer. Orchard lake was able to accommodate for him. They were extremely compassionate and gave us all the time to cope after he passed. Every staff member was really great and I'm extremely thankful they could help us today.

I have been to so many vet clinics and I have to say this place is a cut above the rest, my dog's getting old and orchard lake animal hospital has just taken such good care of him. Everyone here is so nice and knowledgefull and I had the most wonderful experience with Holly, all I can say is wow.

It’s been four months since I lost my fur baby after over 17 years together. I’m only now able to write this review without getting wildly emotional. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this team. Thank you to the entire staff - vets, techs, reception staff - for everything you do for your patients. You helped my baby when she got into scrapes, kept her healthy and living the best life possible during her golden years, and walked with her (and me) during her last days. Dr. Laura Novkov is the best vet I have ever worked with, both skilled and compassionate. Debbie is a rock, a wonderful guide and teacher that taught me how to take care of my baby when things got tougher. I wish I could single everyone out by name for their kindness and love for their patients. I will always be grateful for the level of service and care you provided for both my pups.

Everyone at Orchard Lake Animal Hospital has treated my pets like they were their own. There's lots of love in this building. It's hard to imagine going anywhere else.

I recently moved in the area and Dr Schmeier has been caring for my dog for the past 5 years. I have to say that Gigi has never had a veterinarian quite like this. I have not seen any vet visit be as thorough and caring as Dr Schumeier's. My dog is 13 1/2 years old and is blessed with being treated by Dr Schumeier at his end of life years. I couldn't have wished for a better doctor. I highly recommend this place. I have always had the most pleasant experiences with Dr Schumeier and the entire staff. They truly love and care for our pets. Thank you, Dr Schumeier, for being so wonderful.

I am very disappointed as I have used this facility when they were smaller. I have called and was promised a return phone call so as I could get help for my cat and Never ever got the courtesy of a return phone call. Seems they are too big or too busy or just don't care.

I have a long history with Orchard Lake Animal Hospital, Capone,Jr is now my 3rd dog to get care at the facility over many years." The nicest staff you will ever meet. Dr. Oswald ranks top with me! My dog actually pulls me in the front door!

Great staff and excellent care! Our dogs both presented with explosive diarrhea following boarding at a kennel (which will remain nameless pending lab results). Although we called OLAH on a Tuesday (surgery day, apparently), they let us drop off the dogs for Dx/treatment and worked then into their busy schedule. They called back a few hours later with preliminary results and appropriate meds. One of our dogs had been to OLAH recently with an eye issue and Dr. Schumaier did a great follow-up on that as well. He's very thorough, competent, and compassionate (good attributes for any health care provider and certainly for a DVM). We'd highly recommend OLAH for your pet care--they're in good hands!

Dr Karen Wroblewski is the best Veterinarian ever! We are so lucky that she takes care of our German Shepherds. The lady assistants are also very wonderful.

Orchard Lake is truly an amazing place to take your fur babies. They are so helpful and friendly! Our golden, Howie, absolutely loves visiting there. Highly recommend having fun visits as well to get your pet familiar with the facility and associate good things with it. :) We always feel like Howie is in good hands here! Love their portal as well. :)

Dr. Oswald, Dr. Novkov, Dr. Schumaier and their amazing staff have treated us like family over the years. They are always there when we have a question or concern. The kindness and compassion they have for animals is astounding, and we are so lucky to have found this clinic for our furry family members. True experts in the veterinary field. The staff go Above and Beyond to make our pets feel at home, and work tirelessly to make sure every question we have is answered. We will recommend this clinic to our closest family and friends.
