Really great makeup job by Marisa. I showed her my inspo photo and she did just that. She was super nice and a good communicator! My makeup lasted all day & night. I'd definitely come back.

I had my makeup done by Mandy and hair done by omed!Mandy gave me exactly what I asked for and executed perfectly while giving input on what I may or may not want to do. The color match was on point and lasted the entire day and night after drinking and food.Omed was so sweet and Ive never loved a style more.Im normally someone who gets nervous getting their makeup professionally done as I dont like too much.10/10 highly recommend!

A compact, clean studio. Well staffed. They do hair and makeup. I had my makeup done. I'm a senior so putting makeup on can be a challenge to not overdo. I was very pleased with the results.

I have been coming here since they first opened their doors. In fact, for years before that, Mandy was doing my makeup and eyebrows from her small start-up studio. It is amazing to see how far they have come. Amazing, but not at all surprising. I have had a number of services done and I have never left there feeling anything less than gorgeous. I have visited other makeup and hair salons that left me feeling insecure or even over-done at times. You won't find that problem at Mandy's though.All of the artists are fully dedicated to making you feel your best without feeling like you have 4 lbs of makeup or an unflattering hairstyle or cut. They are all highly skilled at finding your best qualities and working to enhance them making you feel ultra-glamorous. The stylists are all extremely professional yet personable at the same time. Every time I am there I see how warmly they treat all of their clients - whether they be first-timers or long-time patrons, they always ensure you feel well-taken care of. I highly recommend them for any event you may have or even just a regular appointment like an eyebrow shaping or cut and color. I love them. Can't imagine going anywhere else.Services: Hairstyling

Grossly overpriced for no damn reason! Got my hair styled in an updo by one of the stylists. I came in with my hair already washed and blow dried and she worked on me for no more than 30 minutes and I was charged $100! My hair fell flat after 2 hours having had better styling from a bargain basement location. I’ve been to other salons in the area that charge $55 to $65 that do a way better job. They act like they have stylists that studied in the best salons in Europe or they think they’re on the same level as Raphael or Sabah to charge that much. Give me a break!! Do yourself a favor and don’t burn your money. A lot of talented hairstylists in the area that do similar styling that charge way less. STAY AWAY.Service: Hairstyling

Salon is overrated. I went there for hair and makeup services for a wedding reception. I wasn't greeted right away when I walked in. That is ok not a big deal, I guess I didn't want to stare at the ladies behind the counter while they were busy chit chatting. My makeup was pretty well done and customized to what I wanted. However they did not have enough lipstick shades to match the shade I wanted. At the end my lips looked pretty bad. My eyes and everything else looked great (to begin with). When it came time to do my hair, I was turned sideways for some reason so I couldn't see the mirror. Granted I should've asked to be turned but I trusted the stylist to do as I asked (I came with a picture). However the stylist in front of me (her client's seat was also turned sideways) was blowdrying hair and the air kept hitting my face. I'm pretty sure it melted some of my eye makeup because by the time I was done my makeup had fallen off a bit underneath (and it wasn't fixed despite asking). Once my hair was done being styled I was turned around to face the mirror and it looked horrendous, nothing close to the picture I had shown. I had to ask her to blow dry half the hair out and not to mention I'm sure I had a lot of heat damage. She did put in effort into trying to redo it so I tipped her well for her time and effort. At the end I had to come home and fix a bunch of things after my 2 hour appointment. I guess my point is to speak up and make sure you're facing the mirror the whole time so you can see what's going on. It would also be nice to be greeted right away.

Awesome experience here! Ive lived in West Bloomfield 13 years Ive tried many salons for hair and make up. This place amazed me. Very professional, and willing to please with 0 attitude. First time here and left the salon looking like a celebrity! This will be my go to place for all my beauty needs!

This salon is beautiful and in the perfect location in the heart of West Bloomfield. The salon is always clean and the staff is so friendly. There is a welcoming and warm vibe right when you walk in. I love their hair and makeup products. I have been a client of Mandy for over ten years and I can attest that she is the best in the business. She has done my makeup for countless events including my wedding day. She really takes her time and listens to exactly what her clients want. She is very caring and you can tell she loves what she does because she is awesome at it! I have tried the other makeup artists at her salon as well and they are also great. Michelle and Natalie regularly style and blow out my hair. They are great! Honestly all of the stylists are wonderful. You can't go wrong here!

I booked makeup services for myself and my bridesmaids with Mandy for my December wedding. As we requested Mandy travel to us the morning of, upon booking, I was asked to pay a $200 travel fee, which I happily did. I was never emailed any kind of contract or client agreement, but I was not anticipating a problem. When the Governor restricted indoor dining once again, we decided to cancel our existing plans and elope. This left me with no reason to have a makeup artist booked for any kind of services that day. I reached out to the salon to let them know of the cancellation and request a refund of my travel fee. I was then told that while they do not offer refunds, they would be offering me a $200 credit to the salon. I have absolutely zero problem with the notion of a non-refundable fee. Where I do have issue is the fact that I was never informed of this verbally, a contract was not presented to me, nor were any other policies which the studio may adhere to. Furthermore, it was described to me as a "travel fee," which she was no longer required to do. When I brought this to their attention, I was told their manager would be reaching out to get my card info to process the refund. It has now been two weeks and I did not receive a phone call, nor was there any other attempt to reach me. I think it is also worth noting that had I been completely happy with the results of my makeup trial, I likely would have been more willing to accept a salon credit. My skin does tend to be on the oilier side and within a couple hours, I already felt like my face was melting. My skin had not been primed, and there was what felt like a pound of foundation caked on my face. Frankly, it aged me by about 10 years. I do not often write negative reviews, but in the current situation, where I know I am not the only bride that was going through what many are currently dealing with, I think it's worth putting it out there, as this business does not put these details into writing. All of my vendors were small businesses. All of my vendors required a deposit, and all of my vendors put in writing that this deposit was non-refundable. I was required to sign these contracts. Had I known before hand that they would fail to make light of a policy, and then turn around and try to capitalize from our unfortunate circumstance, I certainly would have been deterred from booking in the first place.

Mandy is the absolute best! She's always my first phone call when I have an event. I would never let anyone else do my makeup. She's so great that all I have to do is tell her the color of my dress for the event and she takes over! my make up always look flawless. Highly recommend!

Mandy Rose Salon is the place to be! I got my makeup done with Mandy and I’m not only pleased with the makeup but the customer service as well. The salon is clean, organized, and respectful. Would recommended to anyone.
