Love the online check in to avoid a wait, but I came here on a Friday and it wasn’t busy. They are open later than many other great clips locations which is very helpful. Nikki was fantastic!! She Took the time to understand what I wanted and made sure I was happy with it. I wanted to donate my hair and the stylists were very knowledgeable, gave me info about length requirements for different charities also gave me a bag for my hair and the website for where to go for more information about mailing in my hair. Also there is a military discount with ID. And if you are not satisfied you can come back within 7 days and a receipt for a recut.
Specialties: They will provide information if you are donating your hair.
Stylist: Nikki was fantastic!! Took the time to understand what I wanted and made sure I was happy with it.

Warning . They don’t take coupons from other Great clips . The lady ( don’t know the name ) did a good hair cut , but when I gave her Great Clips coupon from another Grat Clips she said that won’t work . This never happened before . Also I called another Great Clips , they said that they accept coupons from other locations . I am not blaming her for that , but be aware . This is for W Bloomfield location

The combination of an excellent app that allows you to reserve your spot remotely to save in-salon wait time and the friendly and highly skilled team of stylists makes this the recurring go to option for haircuts for my son and I. Look great and save time!

I go to the Great Clips in west Bloomfield Michigan the place is amazing and Matt is the stylist who cuts my hair ? I go every 4 to 6 weeks Matt works his magic and I look amazing and I feel amazing ? Thank You Matt❤️?

My 3 year old daughter cut her own hair. I was devastated! I didn't know where else to take her at 6:30pm. I called Great Clips and was invited to come in to fix her handy work. We were greeted by a nice woman cutting a gentleman's hair. Gabriela came down and propped my baby up in her chair. She was careful not to cut too much more than she absolutely could. She evened out my baby's hair, tied it back, and put a sweet little red clip in her hair. I also got my hair trimmed with her to make my daughter more comfortable. She cut off as much as was necessary to get rid of the breakage and still keep my length. Gabriela was just lovely and kept us in happy spirits our entire visit! She recommended different hair nutrients and shampoos to use for my postpartum hair loss/thinning too. She felt like an old friend. I left relieved and my daughter loved her haircut! The women working here are so nice and welcoming. Gabriela saved the day! I would love to come back again for our haircuts.

Title: Good Haircuts, but Pushy on TipsRating: ⭐⭐⭐I've been a regular at Great Clips for a while, and I have to say, they do a good job with haircuts. However, my experience has been tainted by the constant pressure to give a big tip. Some stylists, whom I know personally, are polite and professional. But others can be quite rude, making comments like, "Did you wash your hair?" That's just uncalled for.I understand the importance of tips, but it should be a choice, not something forced upon customers. The haircut quality keeps me coming back, but I hope they work on the pushy tipping culture and maintain consistency in their customer service.
