“We were driving on the highway when a giant metal plate flew off the back of a semi truck. It went under our car and made a really loud noise. We weren’t certain it was safe to continue driving to our destination so we pulled over to Railway Auto so see if by chance they could take a look under the car and see if everything was ok. They helped me immediately. I didn’t have an appointment or anything. They pulled my car into the garage lifted it up so they could check it out thoroughly. They were so kind and quick to help us and thankfully my car was perfect safe to drive. After doing all of this, they wouldn’t even allow me to pay them. They were truly such a blessing to my family. “This was the second time at this shop. The first time they repaired an AC line that went bad. The work was done quickly and worked well, and the price seemed very fair. Another local shop did my oil change a few months ago and recommended a 4 wheel brake job with pads and rotors for around $1400.00. As I drove it, it didn't seem to show any signs of brake issues, but the other shop used the term "paper thin" so I thought I better check before i take my next trip. I made an appointment for 9:00 AM, they took the car and test drove it and put it on a lift. The Tech came to me and said he would change them but wanted me to know they were between 30 and 40 percent and said if I drove a lot of highway thy probably would go a long time! I just wanted to give a shout out to a shop with honesty and integrity! It's too bad that some of these shops treat their customers like ATMs, replacing good parts to boost their bottom line!
