Needed a spare key made for my Suzuki motorcycle, was having trouble finding places until I came here, gentleman working, worked diligently to help me get a spare duplicated and went out of his way to help me, thanks to you I now have a spare! And your local which is very convenient. I recommend to anyone who needs any kind of key (especially motorcycle's) duplicated to come here!

Very Good: Fantastic selection! BIG old "creaky wooden floor" HW store like the classic Fingerle in Ann Arbor and so many across this rusty old state. The PREVIOUS owerners were GEMS amid the community, not to mention the beautiful old dog that greeted us animal people. The EMPLOYEE there is a great and helpful fellow! MOST unfortunate: The NEW owner. I LIVE in Watervliet but drive to Hartford to avoid this fellow. I'm sorry about whatever happend that he seems such an unhappy soul, but I DO hold hope he gets SOME return on investment so a more traditional, community-oriented handyperson may soon fufill this role again.

Called them to verify they had distilled water in stock for our golf cart. We were told yes come in but we close at 530pm. Rushed there to be on time to find they were out of stock. Now that's customer service wow.

In the middle of Watervliet, Michigan on M-140. Like an old-time hardware store in the 1950s.Very large inventory with customer service staff. I had a problem involving connection of an aluminum sheet (to keep raccoons from my bird feeder). The owner personally came to my house (across the street) connected the aluminum sheet and we have only had one raccoon visit ( the day before the owner installed the sheet of aluminum). Raccoons are terribly distrubtive, especially to bird feeders and are very intelligent and are hard to keep away.It is always a pleasure to find a hard to get item within minutes that would take over a half hours at a “Lowe’s-type) store and you often leave frustrated.Water Hardware is a jewel in Watervliet City.
