The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and sets you up for success with good supplies and guidance, making it a good place to start for a novice. The rental process is quick and easy, with delivery to the lake landing. The small, quaint shop carries provisions, supplies, camping gear, fishing licenses, lures, maps, and freeze-dried foods, including things you may have forgotten to pack at reasonable prices. It also features a small gift shop. They provide customized outfitting to ensure your outdoor adventure goes off without a hitch. Their maps are almost perfectly accurate and include unique, original hand-drawn maps of the Sylvania Wilderness. The expertise and service allow you to enjoy the beautiful Sylvania Wilderness, whether on a multi-night camping and canoeing trip or a kayaking day trip. It is highly recommended to call in advance as gear can get booked up quickly.
The people to see if you're going to Sylvania Wilderness. They'll have the canoes waiting for you at the put in, just stop by at the shop for paddles and PFDs. Always took care of us, over a dozen trips. Nice people too.

The staff was helpful, knowledgeable and the rental process was quick and easy. They delivered the equipment to the lake landing right on time and even refunded us a full day when we returned a few hours earlier than scheduled. 100% will reuse them on future trips.

Very helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Good place to start if you're a novice as they really set you up for success with good supplies and guidance of the region. Small quaint shop has a lot of things you may have forgot to pack and they're reasonable even when compared to Amazon.
