I recently moved all my prescriptions to this Walgreens. The entire retail staff was great, and the pharmacy staff was excellent as well, with the exception of Marie, one of the pharmacy techs. This young girl seems to have a number of chips on her shoulder. Very curt, abrupt, and generally unpleasant to speak to. The only thing I can imagine is that she probably grew up with a cell phone in her face and never learned how to communicate with people. That said, I’m on my way back to Rite Aid.

Very uneducated pharmacist. I take a weight loss med that helps with my insulin resistance and have always picked up early when I move to a new dose. To make sure everything goes smoothly. Well today I was definitely fat shamed by the pharmacist. I called at 4pm to see when I could pick it up. I was told 6:30. I called back to check to see if it was ready and the pharmacist informed me that she cannot fill it a week early even though I know that because moving up to a different milligram my insurance company covers it because they consider a different medication. If this were ANY other medication this pharmacist would have never batted an eye. She would of filled it and went on about her day. But because of the type of medicine it is she feels the need to not do her job. Ridiculous! I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and I definitely advise you to do the same. Not worth your time or money.

My doctor sent my medication to the pharmacy on the 15th of August, 2022. Because this is my first time getting this medication he sent a 10 day supply to another pharmacy. To give Walgreens enough time to order the medication he prescribed to me. On the 20th I physically went to the pharmacist to inquire about my prescription as well as pick up another. The lady I spoke with informed me that unless I inquired about my medication they don't fill it. Which is weird because I had an antibiotic called in on the 20th and they filled without me Inquiring about the medication, at all. And proceeded to call me and tell me my medication was ready to be picked up. Regardless of this contradictory statement I asked when my other medication that was called in on the 15th would be ready to pick up. The lady who was assisting me grabbed the pharmacist on duty to answer wether or not they had it. The pharmacist told me that she was unable to get the medication in because "there's a problem with the manufacture". I asked what the problem is and if it would be resolved by the time I needed to pick it up. She then told me she needed to look into it and would call me later that day. Fast forward to Monday the 22nd. I call and speak to a African American women. She tells me that "you got a 10 day supply & you can't get this filled until the 24th or 25th REGARDLESS if they have it or not". I'm not trying to get it filled, today. I'm trying to make sure they will have it when I need it so I can properly prepare myself for any inconveniences. So I ask will you have it by the 24th-25th? She says she doesn't know but she will put a note in the system to order it. So what am I supposed to do? The lady on the 20th said there's a "problem with the manufacturer" and this lady is saying regardless wether they have it or not I can't get it right now anyway. "But she will put a note in the system to order it" as if that's reassuring. So I called the store manager who I was told, is Erick. I tell him what she told me. That regardless of anything I can't get it right now until, again the 24th-25th. I explain that I want to give this pharmacy and store my money. He then tells me and I quote "she didn't say any of that. I was standing right next to her. I heard the entire conversation & she said she would order it"No. She said "you got a 10 day supply and youCan't get this filled until the 24th/25th regardless if we have it or not". She proceeded to say she would "put a note in the system to order it". AGAIN this medication was sent on the 15th. I inquired about it on the 20th (giving the pharmacist time to order the medication)! On the 20th your pharmacy told me there's a "problem with the manufacture". So explain to me what good it does to put a note in the system? Wouldn't you say something like "hey let me look and make sure we have that for ya when you need it?". But no. They took zero initiative to resolve the issue at hand. I'm not trying to pick up the medication today. I'm trying to prepare for when I need the medication. And for this manager to essentially tell me "your lying she didn't say that at all, she said she would order it". No lol. No she didn't. I've been coming to this Walgreens for years way before this Erick guy was in charge. But I must say it makes perfect sense as to why the customer service has taken a decline. Look at your reviews. This isn't a fluke. This isn't a one time mishap. Multiple people have to deal with this man's incompetence of doing his job. Which is literally to help people. Isn't your company's trade mark quote "wellness"? Yikes! I truly hope you have a better experience. Look the pharmaceutical industry helps themselves not the consumer. It's bad enough you have to fight them for the medication YOU need. I can't imagine a diabetic, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseas

*RATING IS FOR THE PHARMACY. NOT THE STORE. I've been getting my prescriptions at this Walgreens pharmacy since I was a kid. I'm 23 now. ANYWAYS, this pharmacy makes me want to blow my head off every time I have to pick up from it. The pharmacists don't know their a** from a hole in the ground and are extremely rude when I try to explain to them how my prescription works. Because of their lack of knowledge and want to understand or listen, I have f***** up medications every time that cause me damage. If I could sue this place I would. It's extremely ridiculous that I wait over an hour for them to fix their mistakes, which even that is only half a*** F*** this pharmacy and it's rude staff. They don't care about patients, customers, or ANYONE. They're awful!!! I dread coming here and I'm switching to a different store and pharmacy. I hate this place and it makes me go crazy because of everything mentioned. Screw you walgreens pharmacy for always messing EVERY SINGLE THING UP THAT I NEED TO FUNCTION.

If you use a discount card double check your prices!!! Make sure they have entered your discount code for the prescription card (and not one of there choosing)

I am going to have to consider changing my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. The service is poor at best. I just called to see if my medications were ready, the reply was yes. I wasn't notified by phone they were ready. I have been called for at least 5 years. The worker on the phone stated I wasn't in the system for automatic refills. What? I asked about the phone call reminders! She had no clue what I was asking her. If she hasn't been trained suficiently then get her off the phones! I hate to see what she is doing off the phones! YIKES!

My cousin who is a marine, was just refused service because "His hair was longer and darker than on the ID" Will not be buying anything from this place again. Absolutely distasteful customer service.
