USA Transmission of Waterford just rebuild or replace the damaged parts in my 1993 Ford Mustang GT automatic transmission. The first call I made to USA was after hours and Jay answered the call. He listened to the problem with the Automatic Transmission Overdrive issue. He reassured me that they could get the repair done with in few days. I asked to keep the car inside during the time the transmission was being serviced. Jay reassured me that was not a problem keeping the car inside. I dropped the car off the next day. Aaron was there to take the car in. The next day Aaron called with an update. The transmission was removed and placed on the bench. The next day Aaron called again with another update of the parts needed. Two days later Aaron called again letting me know the transmission was reinstalled and will be done tomorrow. The next day it was done. I picked the car up. During the entire time Aaron kept me posted on the progress. I would not hesitate to bring any vehicle to USA Transmission of Waterford.

USA Transmission of Waterford went above and beyond. In an attempt to use an aftermarket warranty, my vehicle ended up being on their lot for over 2 months waiting for the warranty company to respond. USA-T was patient through the entire process, communicated through phone calls, texts (my preference), and even email between all 3 parties.
I have nothing but kind words for Aaron and his crew there. After all is said and done, I feel like the least I could do was provide a top review based on my experience. Thank you! I will be back!

Aaron helped me out alot. I was from mid michigan and having an issue with my vehicle. My cars check engine light was on. It wasnt a trans issue but aaron made me feel like I was in good hands. He is a great manager and was very concerned even if they arent charging money to inspect my vehicle. USA transmission shop inspected my car for free and Aaron informed of what he found out about my check engine light. I am very greatful to Aaron.

Aaron was super helpful, I didn't get service but he ran the code machine for me and helped me reclip on the front bumper for free. Super great guys and they won't just try to get you to spend $ you don't need to. Will always come back here for any transmission service needed with any of our vehicles:)

Took my jeep in because of a violent rattle clearly coming from the bellhousing… absolutely impossible to miss… get a call “nothings wrong with this jeep come get it” weird funny it tried shaking itsself to death from the moment i started it till the moment i got home… literally exactly what i brought it in for and somehow these guys couldnt out their finger on it. Not only that but they left my keys in the gas cap lanyard hanging out so anybody who walked by could have seen those and just took it… then the hood wasnt fully closed so i almsot smashed my windsheild taking off… didnt know id need to do a pretrip just to leave the shop

Made a call last week to USA to take a look at my transmission on my 2007 hummer h3 because everywhere else was too booked up to even take a look at it but they took it in the same day! They also told me that it would be about 2 weeks to get parts and complete the job and luckily got it done and back on the road in less than a week! I highly recommend the guys at USA and will certainly use them again for any of my vehicles needs. I will forever recommend my friends and family!!!

As I sit here and read reviews AFTER the money we spent on a 1/2 transmission rebuild for nearly $4000, 4 months later and they still can't figure out our trans issues, I would say that when you read the negative reviews even from many years ago, agree with them! I'm beyond disgusted with everything from transparency, hours of operation, how they treat your belongings, lack of knowledge to outrage pricing!!Conclusion:I did reach out to the owner in the message below.They "fixed the transmission thus far". I don't feel optimistic about it as there has been so many other things that has gone wrong here.1. Everything seems to be done over the phone. (40+ calls)2. When you pick up the vehicle, be prepared to take time off of work to get it cause their hours are not normal and you would like to see someone present when you review your vehicle.3. We were told that we would be given a 3 year warranty (over the phone). Later did he denied that warranty in person. Granted us only 12 months warranty, which is standard.4. When we picked up the vehicle every time, NO ONE was ever present and will leave keys in vehicles.5. Our vehicle was there for over 6 weeks this last go around. Because they could not figure out the issues the first 2 times! While there, it ended up with paint chipped all across it, plus one of our new dual muffler tips was bent. Took it back to show them as requested. They were getting loud and quickly denying any wrongdoing.6. Who eats in a customers vehicle along with not putting floormats down when working inside the vehicle?I am not sure how others may see this, but this vehicle is not an everyday vehicle we drive around. It sits in the garage like a classic on most given days. We poured upwards of $4000 cash into this project, and they just originally threw parts at it without knowing what the real problem was. I know anyone in their right mind that spends that amount of cash, would be upset as much as I am over their project not being properly cared for, for the time being that it was in the business presence.In the photos, I have shared the damage to the exhaust tip and some (but not all) paint damage.No apologies were ever given, wouldn't listen to customers' concerns upon arrival, and felt their behavior is acceptable. The owner stormed out of the parking lot instead of addressing it at the root. Not to mention, they continuously make excuses.
