“Changing places had us moved in 3 1/2 hours flat! We had done a lot of work upfront, but they had to move quite a bit of heavy furniture. They had everything disassembled, moved, and put back together in each room in record time. Nothing was damaged, and they were all very professional, and kind. I would recommend them again, and again!”

“I reserved a unit online and somewhat forgot about it. Shelby called me a few days later and we talked for about 10 minutes. When I came and looked at it, I realized I needed a different size. Shelby gave me plenty of options and let me look at all of the units before deciding on the one I went with. She answered ALL my questions and took her time explaining what I needed to know. I love how easily accessible my unit is and the new bright LED lighting. I compared prices with other local companies, including some I've used in the past and Storage King came out on top for many reasons. “Super nice people in the office. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and organized. A safe place store your overstock, inside with a variety of unit sizes to choose from, and they have safe fenced in with cameras, outdoor storage for work vehicles or summer/ winter toys. I would definitely recommend this storage facility. The price is reasonable also.”

“Great place for storage. I went with the climate control unit and never had an issue. Everyone is extremely friendly there and makes sure you have everything you need. If I ever need to store items again this is where I'll be going!!”

“I always thought I could not afford a storage unit and although I wish I didn't need one (that's another story) I had to get some stuff out of my apartment before someone turned me into "Hoarders" ( you know the TV show?). Anyway, I found Affordable Storage and was surprised at the affordability. It's close to my apartment and the unit was clean (as far as outside storage units go). Cement floor, of course, and lockable door. That's all I needed. and expected. The gentleman who helped me, Bill I believe, but I could be way off (I'd better check this detail) was very friendly when I went in to sign up and they are always friendly when I call to make a payment. If this is what you need for a storage unit, this place meets the criteria and then some. And just FYI, no one is paying me or giving me anything to write this review. :-) Well, you never know!”

“Received EXCELLENT customer service from Kristi at Airport Road Storage in Waterford, MI. She was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She has a great positive attitude! I appreciate her quick response to my phone messages. She went out of her way to assist me in finding a storage space to meet my needs. When her facility was full, she touched base with me over several months until she had an opening. WOW… now that’s GREAT customer service! Keep Up the Good Work Kristi… it was a pleasure working with you!”

“Contacted them today needing 2 storage units quickly. Jennifer was SOOOO awesome and helpful! She answered every question I had (I'm thorough, so it was A LOT), walked me through the process and got me in my units same day! She got me the size I needed and close together, she made sure I knew about their promotions and I got an AMAZING DEAL compared to all the other places I called. I am very optimistic our future experience in the units as well, as they were very easy to locate and access. When I got there about an hour after signing my contract, the units were ready for me with my lock and keys, a welcome packet and I am all set to get our stuff moved in! ? I bought the locks off them as well and happy I did! Great lock that came with 3 keys and can't be cut with bolt cutters! And I have enough to worry about as opposed to saving a few dollars while trying to find a good lock for the unit quite frankly. I did A LOT of research on local facilities. And they had the best customer service and rates by far! Will update if needed but hoping to continue to have a great experience there as we continue our storage saga ? Thanks so much Jennifer!!!! You were great!!! And to your boss who might read this, Jennifer definitely deserve a raise, as it was her and her kindness and patience that sold me on the units ? We just closed a business and had about 10 employees and good help like her is hard to find nowadays. The labor force seems to have changed drastically since the pandemic in my experience and you're lucky to have such great employee! ? I only do reviews usually when I am really impressed or really upset, and more so the latter. Jennifer was impressive!! “Great experience. The manager on site, Shelby, is responsive and a pleasure to do business with. I've had units at this location since 2000. Storage King and their onsite management is by far the best owner yet. There may have been some changes with pricing, yes, but the facility has never been more safe and secure. They have added cameras and security lighting to the property. I would definitely recommend this Storage King location.”

“I have rented 2 large storage lockers for 15 months. My experience was FANTASTIC! The units are large and while not "Climate Controlled" were well ventilated, clean and insect free. I stored Indoor furniture and outdoor items in the 2 units and never had any issues at all!! The facility is easily accessible, secure and open when I needed it to be. I needed additional help in getting a 28' trailer parked for multiple days because we were moving out of state. The staff was very helpful in making that happen and it went off without a hitch!! I recommend this storage facility without reservation!!! Nice people and great value!!!”

“I was torn between 3 & 5 stars, so I split at 4. U-Haul on one hand is a five star cause of extreme ease of renting trucks, storage, or moving equipment. On the other hand, U-Haul could have a 3, for no less than half employees that are on staff always seem disinterested in being there, can never reach a local U-Haul on the phone, and moving boxes are very high priced I feel.”

“Theses are trying times. I needed a trailer hitch installed and this location was able to schedule me fairly quickly. On the day of installation they were able to complete the job in a timely fashion. The technician was very friendly and informative. Really appreciated their service.”

“The place is clean, feels secure and they continue to upgrade . Any questions or concerns were addressed same day with Vickie or the after hours service. They do a good job communicating via text or email though you can get a live person if you are old skool like me?.I called yesterday and left a message got a call back in less than 5 mins. The customer service from the property manager was on point and I was satisfied. I def recommend the Dixie highway, Waterford Michigan location. Thank you Vickie?”
