The kids love going for walks here and seeing all the ducks and geese. We have seen deer on the walking trails and turtles in the pond and stream. My son has done their Nature Camp and he had so much fun! This is a great place to take the kids to walk and relax around the water :-)

I walk my doggo here. I really like that I can make it a short or long walk. Lots of ways to tailor the walk.
Hope they fix the wash out to the other side.

About Drayton Plains Nature Center
The property is open dawn to dusk, year-round. The Drayton Plains Nature Center's 138 acre, and expanse of nearly 1 mile in length, exhibits our Earth's finest treasure, nature. The Interpretive Building will be open May 19-October 15, 2023, Fridays 1PM-5PM, Saturdays & Sundays 10AM-2PM. *We DO NOT ACCEPT or care for any injured or abandoned wildlife* Visit the Michigan DNR website for a list of licensed rehabilitators near you.
