Called Friday to make an appointment to have my front breaks and rotors replaced, was told they could do it Monday afternoon no problem. My husband left work early to make it to the appointment to be told that they aren't able to do anything until Tuesday and still may not have it done by the time they close. Whoever I spoke to over the phone left no "note" about my appointment because apparently they have no system in place to keep track of appointments.

I tried to start my car one morning and it was completely dead. Being a foreign car, I thought my only option was the dealer. I found this shop online and spoke to Steve - the owner- who diagnosed it and had the battery replaced in a couple hours. Impressed with the service, I took my car back the following week because my brake light had been on for quite some time and he not only replaced my brakes but also my much needed wipers (not easy to find for this vehicle) and an oil change. Extremely affordable, friendly, knowledgeable, and as a female knowing nothing about cars, I felt very comfortable. I’m very appreciative to have such an honest and affordable mechanic so close to home and especially one who can work on a Mercedes that I would otherwise have to take to the overpriced dealer.

Steve and his crew are friendly and helpful. Got my truck in there and it was ready in one day. Bad starter. Price for repair was very good. This is the place you should go for your auto repairs!!!

Highly recommend this place!
I had a Exhaust leak and my car sounded terrible. They were able to get it in and all taken care of in a reasonable time with a reasonable price.

I have been using Steve for several years now and consider him a good friend. Steve is extremely honest and knowledgeable. He provides great service and will never do more than what's needed.It's hard to find a mechanic you can truly trust, Steve is someone you can trust and depend on to keep your vehicle running. I use him for almost everything except for things he cannot do. He has saved me a lot of money over the years and I highly recommend Clarkston Auto Services!

I took my Cadillac SRX here out of recommendation, Steve Palmer is the owner & the mechanic, he is extremely patient and explained everything both over the phone and in person , in the automotive service I’m sure we are all just looking for someone to “just tell us how it is with honesty” . For any future vehicle matters I’ve found my mechanic and will be retuning here . Thanks again Steve !
