Please believe I would give a zero star rating if I could. Briarwood has been a disappointing place to live for a variety of reasons. When I first moved in, I was assured the apartment would be clean. It wasn’t anywhere near clean. They had to call in a professional team because of all the dirt and dust. It was disgusting and postponed my move in date. First, they do not fix maintenance issues in a timely fashion. When I expressed concerns, workers came out and opted for a quick fit. They walked all over my carpet I had just carpet cleaned at 8 months pregnant when I nicely asked them not to. Briarwood does not care about families. Briarwood employees completely lack professionalism and common decency. The apartment manager should be committed to make residents to feel comfortable and valued but I’ve never felt this since the new person folks over. At 9 months pregnant, I was told I was to vacant my apartment but given no reason why. I struggled to find another place 3 days before my c-section. Briarwood does NOT care about families.
Edit: forgot to mention I paid extra to have a carport just to find my car rusted from the sprinklers spraying directly at my car. Briarwood didn’t care and blamed me.

If you have a nice vehicle and value your paint job, beware.
I have a 2023 silverado I bought new last year and my paint is destroyed from the hard water the apartments use for their sprinkler system.
I have hard water spots etched into my paint and the only way to fix this issue is to have the paint buffed and waxed. I've already paid out of pocket for this once, and now have to do it again since the apartment complex believes this issue falls on my insurance company.

My Fiancée and I just applied yesterday, only to be called early today and be told that we were denied, and they didn't know why. Neither of us have ever been denied a place to live - ever. When we called, they simply told us it was out of their hands, and they didn't know why. Sounds like they wanted our application fees, but didn't actually have the space to rent. I would not trust them, based on what I have seen so far. Guess we lucked out!

I stopped in to look for an apartment since my daughter & her husband are moving home from Ft Bragg, N Carolina as his military service is complete soon & they will need a place to live. The office manager was rude & insensitive, stating that they require a 3 month history of income from Michigan. I explained that due to him being stationed at Ft Bragg this is not possible, but my daughter has been working as a Nurse & has proof of income there. Not good enough for them This company clearly DOES NOT VALUE MILITARY families or Nurses! Shame on you Briarwood Apartments.

The office staff is rude and were completely insensitive to my situation. The property manager was nowhere to be found and couldn’t be bothered to answer any questions. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for an apartment.

We lived here for 3 years and are finally free!!! We always paid our rent, kept to ourselves and never got any violations yet the office staff was still horrible to deal with. It is a good location and a good property with decent size units. We did have maintenance issues but the guys were always a pleasure to deal with and on top of fixing the issue. They just need to rethink their employees in the office and the face of their company. Glad to be out of there so that we do not have to deal with the ladies in the office anymore. If you move you here don’t expect help from the office and if you do then expect to be harassed.
