“After visiting 2 other vets in the area and getting no answers to why my baby wasn't eating properly and losing weight. After the doctors thorough exam and thoughtfully listening to what was going on. She can tell right away by examining his neck the way hes swallowing hes uncomfotable..intuitive yes,, experience. Yes. next says xray in order first then do one lab that wasn't included in the 2 previous visits. Unfortunately the xray said it all. Very thoughtful kind and compassionate through the whole tragic ordeal. Not to mention the first doctor HAD done an xray.. 4 months previously and did NOT see anything abnormal?? Thank you North Hill for your skill and humanity. RIP my baby”
“I bring both my girls here and most recently I was very impressed by Dr Smith. She was very knowledgeable and provided me with some good insight and suggestions to address my questions and concerns. I felt she took the time to make sure my dog was taken care of. The techs here are great as well and they have always been very nice and helpful. My only thing is they got rid of the plans where you pay monthly - I liked these because they gave me some sort of piece of mind.”

The staff was so nice, from the phone call, to the assistants to the Dr, everyone was nice, caring and took their time. “I felt it was important to share some updates with fellow pet owners who are considering this establishment. While I initially believed the care they provide for pets was excellent based on their social media presence, I’ve since come across multiple troubling reviews that suggest a different story about the level of care they offer. In addition to my concerns about a specific staff member, a young woman with curly hair who has been involved in inappropriate relationships with underage individuals and exhibited questionable behavior on social media. I’ve learned that she has attempted to cover up these actions by attributing them to influences from Japanese “Lolita” culture, which she claims to have picked up despite being almost 30 years old. Although she appears to have shifted her attention to dating older individuals, they are still significantly younger than her, which remains highly concerning. Given these revelations, I advise fellow parents to exercise caution when bringing both your children here. While some of their online content may suggest they care for pets well, it’s highly important to consider this and other concerns to ensure everyone’s safety during your visits, from a concerned mother. I’ve rated this review as 5 stars to ensure it gets seen by more people, even though my concerns are serious.”

“Dr. Chambers at Stony Creek Veterinary Hospital and her very kind staff have been truly AMAZING! My 2 year old Beagle mix was diagnosed in August with Humangiosarcoma. I was faced with some extremely difficult decisions because the oncologist told me she was incurable. Well I couldn't live with that. I reached out to every place I could in a short amount of time, including University of Michigan and Michigan State University for help!
I felt helpless and lost and quite frankly, angry. No one wanted to help my 2 year old with a very rare form of Humangiosarcoma. I was so disgusted in the amount of money the oncologists wanted I couldn't get past it. I started to email with my vet, Dr. Chambers from Stony Creek Veterinary Hospital in Washington Twp., MI. I never expected her to respond, thinking she was tremendously busy. Well not only did she respond, she became my rock and my support through this crisis. She was just as disappointed as I was in the oncology prices. My sweet girl could be saved and others could learn from her terrible disease. Dr. Chambers and I talked over the options and we decided to amputate. It's been a week since her surgery and I feel awful, but I just know she will be in a better place. We had to test a lymph node and we are praying it isn't positive for the cancer. Her prognosis is unknown right now, which is so scary, but I will forever be grateful to Dr. Chambers for helping my sweet girl. I truly would not be functioning if it weren't for Dr. Chambers generous heart and brilliant mind. She is one of those rare gems. I couldn't be more grateful and more impressed with her and her staff. They have treated Ghost with so much love and kindness. It has been an absolute blessing that Dr. Chambers and her staff have come into our lives. I can't THANK YOU ALL enough! Ghost thanks you for loving her and for giving her a chance for a quality and hapay life.
