I have to say there are just salons and then there is "The Korner Salon"! I wanted to find a place that would give my wife a nice hair cut and I was having issues getting into a salon (I wanted to do something special for her). I (we) have been by this place many times and I decided to go in and ask if they would take a walk-in. They said no prblem but it would be about 15 minutes. I sent my wife in while I waited in the car. When my wife walked out she had the BIGGEST smile on her face and looked simply beautiful! She said that the people in there were so nice and so caring. She has finally found a new Salon with associates that are compasionate, talanted as well as just down right friendly. Both hair stylists each gave her a big hug before she left. I am very appreciative and thankful for these folks and the manner they treated my wife and were so welcoming. What's even better is the hair cut was PERFECT for her. I haven't seen my wonderful wife beaming with a smile that big in a very long time!Thank you The Korner Salon for being such a SPECIAL place. She (we) will be back.Give them a try as I am certain you will not be disappointed either!!

I had a appointment with tonya called her told her was running a few min late told me no problem drive safe.showed up and no one was there .I did pre pay for a service not too happy would never recommend this this place to anyone this is not how you run a business.

Very disappointed! I arrived at 4:12 PM for my 4:15 PM appointment. When I arrived, my hairstylist, Lori was in the back washing a customers hair. I waited for approximately 10 minutes while she washed this customers hair. Lori walked up front she told me she would be with me in just a few minutes. When I asked what she had left to do, she told me that she had to cut the other woman’s hair. I stood up and told Lori that I was not going to wait. She said it would not take long and I again repeated that I was not going to wait and left. At 5:10 PM I received a phone call from Lori (assuming this is when she finished with the other customer), demanding to know why I had left so abruptly. I again explained to Lori that I was not going to wait for her to cut someone else’s hair before she had a chance to get to me, when my appointment was scheduled for 4:15pm. She rudely stated that I should have waited and she would have got to me. I told Lori, do not call me and speak to me so rudely when the issue was yours not mine. I clearly stated when I left the salon that I was not waiting-I’m not sure the need for her phone call. I will not go back nor will I recommend Katie’s Korner to anyone else going forward. Very poor customer service Lori-very disappointing. You should never talk to a customer on the phone the way you did.

Im the worst with names but the ladies here are personable, funI think her name is Lori! I had the best color Ive ever gotten. Believe it or not when you just want to cover the gray and you say to someone just make it my hair brown like its supposed to be, its hard to get the right brown. Here she got it perfect first try and added some caramel highlights. The haircut was great as well. Highly recommend this salon!Services: Highlights

Amazing staff! Lori was absolutely amazing!!! She gave me first class service that i haven’t experienced anywhere else. I gave her a vague description of the style I wanted and she knocked it out of the park. Thank you Lori, can’t wait to come back!

I'm a retired stylist of 30 yrs. Moved here from the west side over 4 yrs. ago. I've been to 4 salons in area and never completely satisfied. That changed when I came to Katie's Korner and met Tonya. She gave me a perm and cut.. I absolutely love it.. exactly what I wanted.. we were on the same page.. I'm so glad I found her..Tonya is definitely my forever stylist.Salon is nice and clean...little boutique up front... comfortable atmosphere...if you're not completely satisfied with your stylist go see Tonya .. you'll be happy you did.....
