I drive right by the ghetto Harper Woods location to get to this one. Friendly and helpful staff and they always have what I need. The appliance guy spent easily over 20 minutes with my wife and I picking out a perfect dishwasher. Don't find that kind of service much anymore.

3 stars because the old hag in the paint department needs an attitude adjustment. I don't know her name but she's working in the paint department has short brown hair and a bad a** attitude. I feel so sorry for all the other amazing and super friendly employees that have to work with her. Watched a couple go and ask a question to a young gentleman who was working and he was very nice and double checked with her about the finish of the paint. She became super condescending and talked to not only her coworker this way but also to the couple asking a question. My boyfriend then asked her a simple question and she again, talked to us like we were 5 year olds and took the paint cans out of the basket. So I grabbed them back from her said I got it I'll put them back then she tried to be actually helpful and say she would put them back for us, I assume because I wasn't gonna take her stupid attitude but I told her I would ask someone else and that's what I did. Poor lady with so much hate in her heart needs to find a new job that's not dealing with people.

Placed an online order for 6 items to be picked up curbside. Two of the items were even the exact same thing. Nice person brought my order to the car handed me my receipt, thanked me and headed back inside. Checked the bag with four of the items only to discover one of them was wrong, not even close. As in a roll of painters tape that should have been a 4" paint roller handle. Glanced at the two containers of stain that were not obviously not bagged with the other stuff. So now have to go inside, get the item mistake resolved very quickly and efficiently. Arrive home take everything out only to discover the second container of stain is a different color then the first which of course is the one who's label I spotted when I checked them. Considering I had already discovered one mistake in a 6 ITEM order perhaps I should have checked closer, like you have to check the fast food bag before pulling away from the drive thru window. But seriously, six items, two of them the exact same thing. Pitiful!

horrible...delivery drivers do not show up when say....huge inconvenience and they do not care. i was without a refrigerator for 4 days. pick it up yourself. the delivery company home depo contracts out to is horrible. if its home depo doing the delivery, its horrible. i took 2 days off work without pay to get this delivered no compensation and i still do not have it. im at their mercy. i will wait till the next scheduled delivery dat and if i do not have it (this monday)...will get a complete refund and go elsewhere like i started to . trust this review and go elsewhere or pick it up cash and cary with home depot from now on!!!

buyer beware! I purchased a kitchen appliance package from Home Depot on July 10th. Today is September 3rd and they have not completed the installation. Their installation team has been to my house 6 times and every time they come, they cannot do part of the installation for one reason or another. First time they installed the gas range poorly, the way the installed it it wouldn't go up against the wall, the closest it could get to the wall was 5" away so i had to have it fixed on my dime. they installed my microwave unleveled so it had to be fixed on my dime, they refused to install the fridge because they didnt like my water shut off valve. there was nothing and is nothing wrong with the shutoff valve, its a standard for pipefitters to use a needle valve. they also refused to install the dishwasher until i actually screwed my pipes to the wall.. this makes no sense but i was so frustrated that i agreed and purchased hardware to screw them into the wall as required. Second time the guy showed up late and said he had another appointment so he didnt have time and ranted about how crappy Home Depot is to work with and if he fixed everything Home Depot did wrong he would never see his kids.. also told me I should have been smarter and purchased from Lowes! third time they broke the plumbing for my dishwasher when they were removing my existing dishwasher and said they couldnt fix it, they had to send out a plumber. fourth time was a plumber to repair their broken plumbing, fifth time their work order said they came to deliver appliances instead of installing them when they were already sitting in my garage and they showed up to my house with no appliances, sixth time I finally got a motivated and friendly installer and the dishwasher arrived destroyed! Destroyed so bad that the racks would not go back in place! Five weeks, six installation visits, 9+ hours of me sitting inside the local Home Depot to explain the situation and beg staff to help me they approve me to return the destroyed dishwasher and purchase another one. So I purchase another one on 7 days ago. Home Depot was quick to charge me for the new purchase but still has not refunded me for the returned dishwasher. I paid for everything up front on my credit card, no financing through Home Depot so it should be a simple transaction so I called Home Depot and asked what the issue was.. I was told that I have been flagged and a district manager has to approve my return. What the heck! I have done nothing but be patient for the past 7 weeks since I placed the order on July 10th and now Home Depot may possibly refuse my refund on an appliance I prepaid for both the appliance and the installation in good faith on which arrived completely destroyed and unusable? i want my refund processed for the dishwasher i returned on august 27th! i did everything i was supposed to do and home depot is dragging their feet! I have put in countless of hours calling Home Depot, sitting in the appliance center at Home Depot, waiting in line at customer service at Home Depot, dragging broken appliances back to Home Depot, calling the 800 number for Home Depot, taking off work multiple days to be waiting around for the Home Depot appliance delivery team to come to my house 6 times thus far with AT LEAST ONE MORE VISIT TO GO because I still do not have the dishwasher delivered or installed! At this point, Home Depot needs to significantly compensate me for wasting my time and energy and i want a phone call from a live person whos capable of helping me. i have been out nearly $4000 for almost two months and still dont have the installation completed. i have been more than patient and generous with my time. This is now at the point where im ready to rip everything out and dump it in the home depot parking lot and get a refund, Had I known I was going to have such a massively negative experience with Home Depot I would have purchased my appliances from another company.

Placed an order at 1:56 pm online and the website advised it would take up to 2 hours to receive today for in stock items. I arrived earlier as I live an hour away and did some inside shopping while waiting for my order ready for pickup confirmation. While checking out - the line was completely unorganized and no one guided the customers to let them know more checkout clerks were available. I then walked out the line and checked out with a clerk (which technically I was cutting the line). While doing so i noticed other checkout ladies ava. Anwent back to guide the remaining customers (5-7 people) to let them know of the other available clerks as they to were unaware. I didn’t plan to post a review until the other part of events happened. I went back to my car to wait for the confirmation. By 3:54 I called to see if my items were pulled and available - they were not, but the rep advised for me to check in and she will have them pulled. This was an inconvenience as I am not from this area and traveled with my boyfriend and toddler as well. I then decided to go inside to see if I was able to just grab the item myself since it was already paid and would rather not have to cancel the order and go home empty handed. (I ordered a mini fridge) I go inside to customer service and walk towards the first rep and see she is on her phone - head down - completely oblivious to her surroundings. I then walk up to a set of employees who were discussing “You’re going to pull the order?! - —- it’s a mini fridge”. I interrupted them by saying yes that was me that called - I just called to see if i can go and grab the fridge to expedite the order as it has been two hours already. One of the ladies then explains that I can grab a cart in aisle 6 and the fridge will be in aisle 30 bay 8. (I do have scoliosis and had surgery where I have rods in my back) But seeing that the service was at a Zero - I was just ready to get it and go. I grabbed the item and made it back to customer service - she was able to check me out and then asked if I may need assistance wheeling item to my vehicle (I have on an open back romper and you can see my surgical scar on my back from top to bottle). I politely told her it’s fine I got it. Nevertheless - Please get the customer service team corrected. As it is a big influence on if customers care to return or not. (Amongst other factors). Thank you if you have read this. And hope you implement a change.

I'm never in this area but discovered this Home Depot location looking for landscaping rocks. I didn't purchase anything. Literally, walked in to the nursery department, looked around and walked out when they didn't have what I wanted. The place was empty at 9:00 Am.

Bill was swift and on point with getting my locks keyed to match. Albeit this was the 4th HD I tried to get to perform this service, Bill was pleasant,helpful and the only one around. Employees like this are like gold.

Don't know why the store is rated so bad other than the twelve and 75 store this is the second best store In the area., store is very clean and the staff seems to care. Not looks the 7 or 8 mile stores. They Are trash. this store is pretty well stocked to

Wanted to thank your associate Judy for going out of her way to assist us today! Went above and beyond for us -- and with a smile (under her mask) and a sense of humor. Also thanks to Michael for working the lift truck. Both helpful despite being short staffed. We appreciated it!

Why doesn't this store have a bin where you can turn in your batteries like Lowe's does or other stores?????? Why weren't the people wearing masks. Feel so sorry for the people who have to work there. Will not go there again!
