I used to have an account with Nordlies, before name change to Kennicott. Name is not the only change. This time around they denied me an account. Reason- I'm not a high enough volume account. Looks like they don't want to be bothered servicing smaller companies, only large volume purchasers. Not helpful or willing to suggest/direct me to alternative wholesalers. Response was - they are best. Clearly not if they don't service you.

Nordlie has been a great partner for our theatre company. We use flower sales as a fund raiser during performances. The bouquets are reasonably priced and absolutely beautiful. They deliver directly to the theatre which makes opening night less stressful! Only one issue in time we've used them and they resolved it in a timely manner. I would recommend them for wholesale floral.

I visited this location after searching for flower shops online. We weren't aware that this store only sells wholesale and not to the general public until we were ready to purchase flowers, after spending about 25 minutes in the store.Okay-that's understandable, no problem if that's the store policy. But we even asked an associate for help and told them this is our first time in the store- no mention from them that flowers aren't sold to the general public.My issue is the attitude we received from the salesman behind the counter in the fresh flower section.While we stood in line, we could see he was clearly having a bad day. He had his voice raised, rolling his eyes, and dismissing questions. He even swore out loud.We patiently waited to ask a question and pay. He told us we cannot purchase, and to go talk to the manager. There was attitude and sass.He then proceeded to show us where the manager's office is, and he yelled something along the lines of "you can either follow me, or don't, if you don't want to listen to me"On their website: "We have a deep-rooted reputation of outmatched customer service."

years back I worked for Farmer Jacks I would receive my floral dept. goods from Nordlie....I managed and trained afew people in Floral. I certainly enjoyed every minute of it. Floral designing indeed starts with a great wholesale floral provider. Thank You. Nordlie Detroit.

Excellent - this is much cleaner than a few of the Kennicotts I've been to. They have an excellent building, stock, and the fresh floor is on it. They s do have a smaller fresh offering than in used to, but you can order all that stuff in! ?

I was a customer at the Flint Nordlie until it closed a month ago. It's been a hard transition, but the staff at the Detroit Nordlie has been very helpful in navigating the confusion. This was the first time I was able to make the drive down to Warren to store, but I was very impressed by the size of the place and the variety of both hard goods and fresh cut flowers! It's also gave me lots of great ideas for my flower shop!
