I bought a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse on December 23, 2023 put $1,300 down and 2 months later it completely went out on me. Took it to 3 different shops. 1st shop got a major tune up that cost $600 but they said engine is going out. 2nd shop fixed a part in the engine through warranty just for my alternator to go out that costed me $2,000. I was told I needed strusts, pawl barring and other things that needed to be done on the car. 3rd shop fixed my strusts etc. (Pawl barring still needs fixings) i spent $1,100. So at this point I put more money into fixing the car than it's worth. I've been out of a car for 2 months now. Told the DETROIT CASH FOR CARS what happened they said i cant refund it or anything. Told me to trade it in or keep fixing it. They were no help at all. Now im in debt for $11,500 on a car i CAN'T DRIVE. So approximately i spent $5,000 on repairs this car thats still not running so when you include $1500 for car insurance and $400 car note. Almost $7,000 . Thats more than half my balace that i could've paid off on the car. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND GETTING A CAR FROM THEM TO ANYBODY!!

I’m giving them a 1 star because I got my truck besides that they horrible I asked them put air in my tire and change my oil before I come back and get it they didn’t then my 6 month warranty turned into 3 months then my engine was half water and oil when I took it to a oil change shop horrible then my engine levers were bad so I had to get another engine smh but make sure yall bring a mechanic and look over everything before u Leave

Went in looking for a reliable vehicle for my granddaughter. After test driving the one she was interested in,we purchased it. The sale was smooth, Sammy was very helpful and professional. Today we took it to be checked out by our mechanic and he found No issues at all with the vehicle. I would recommend Detroit Xash For Cars wholeheartedly.

(Make sure you have a mechanic with you as if you get any car I prefer)
But spent 8,000 and only got 6 months out of my truck.

Bought a Ford here and brake gave out on way home, radio didn't work and transmission went 1.5 months after I bought it also the turbo went after I replaced transmission. This is the biggest rip off I've ever had. I even told the guy my radio didn't work and he gave me the run around and it wad never fixed. Don't buy a car here!!
