Their truck driver got on the stand and lied about hitting 4 of us. Which happened in May 2018,went to court in Columbia SC. lastweek and they already paid for the car to be fixed and they others off. I have a lifetime injury because I was in backseat and they believed the driver that was in a construction zone flashing his lights at us. Said we stopped in middle of road. Which he lied on the stand. It wa raining and he said we merged in front of him. I will be posting about this company and the new company since I'm sure they have changed name, but because the car wasn't beat up they apparently thought couldn't cause damage two weeks later

I've been in the industry for 20 years, and this is the worst logistics company I've ever worked with. Their prices are competitive on some routes, but their terrible service will make you wish you went with a competitor. I write this review as a warning to any potential customer to stay away from working with Central Transport if you can.A few examples of what to watch out for:- Frequent misbilling: Central Transport does not provide a line-item invoice when billing unless it is specifically requested after a bill has been sent. Otherwise, they send a charge with no details and hope that customers aren't savvy enough to check that their bill matches the services performed.- Late shipments: Never count on a shipment taking the amount of time estimated when you receive a quote. It once took them over a month and a half to deliver a shipment half way across the country that they said would take four days.- Unpaid damage claims: Don't count on getting paid for damaged shipments. They once damaged a container we were shipping so badly that it was leaking. They put on a pallet because it couldn't stand upright anymore and tried to deliver it. After our customer rightfully refused the dripping mess, they transferred the contents to another leaking container and delivered it again. After I submitted a claim for damages, Central Transport wouldn't pay for damages because they said our account was past due for not paying a charge that was misbilled to our account.If you work for Central Transport and read this and the countless other negative reviews of your company, I hope you take the concerns seriously and work to start delivering the service your company advertises instead of merely lining the pockets of your owners who do everything they can to remain unknown.

There was a pallet in possession of Central Transport that I needed to be returned to my warehouse. Central Transport asked me to pay a ridiculous amount to have it returned ($800). Shipping that pallet didn't even cost that much. Anyways, I paid because I really needed that pallet returned. After receiving payment, all of a sudden Central could not locate the pallet. It took around 2 weeks for Central to finally admit that. Then they spent another 10 days to do "dock checks".I had enough and put in a claim. The goods on that pallet were close to $3,000. After a lengthy process where I gave everything they asked for, they come back stating they will only give me $119.80.I never wanted to work with this company. A client of mine booked the shipping, funny enough, through Amazon's approved vendor list. Does Amazon know they are working with a company like this???They are unreliable, treat their workers horribly and are straight up crooks. They scammed me out of $3,900. As a small business, this is a big hit for me.Then to top it all off, they just have one phone number for all their inquiries. The workers who answer the phone state they handle handle everything but cannot answer my questions and won't hand it off to a manager.A terrible company. If you are in warehousing and logistics, STAY AWAY FROM CENTRAL TRANSPORT.

I wish there was a zero Star.... The package came destroyed and my cabinet completely destroyed. Driver was rude and wanted to leave it on the street in front of my office and did not want to bring it in although I have a ramp and he had a huge hand held forklift dolly. Once he finally after a huge attitude brought up the ramp instead of using the dolly to bring it in, he pulled it off and dragged the wood pallet it was sitting on literally across my lobby floors and destroyed my brand new floors. I refused to sign and then he asked my name. I see many reviews that false signatures are given stating it is in good condition. Home Depot is taking care of the cabinet but who is going to take care of my floors!!! What is worse is my entire office was done in the same cabinets and the one that is destroyed was the last one and they no longer have them. Now I have to return everything and go with another style that was not my first choice. HORRIBLE COMPANY

Horrible customer service. Called regarding a PO number and asking for their address. Customer service representative said in a sly tone, "well, let me look it up, just like you could have done yourself." Very short, unhelpful, and hung up on me. Horrible way to represent your company!

Worst company!! WARNING DO NOT USE! They told us someone would pick up and still after 3 days no one picked up! They are so unprofessional and should not be in business. Do not trust them or you will regret it. They offer services and they can't come through

Terrible company. Deserves to go out of business. Will ship things to you completely destroyed and broken. Will stack items that clearly say “not stackable”. You will receive your items broken. Don’t use this company.Customer service is a joke. They’ll destroy your items and then refund you 1% of how much your item weighed. I’d trust that Chinese balloon more than I’d trust this company. Scammers. Get them off the roads.

Absolutely worst company to deal with. Would give 0 stars if i could. I had a car door and fender delivered that was completely destroyed. It’s unbelievable on how damaged the door and fender were and both are completely useless.The fender was crinkled flat from things being stacked on top when it was posted as unstackable freight and the door had black dents and lines from the forklift as well as one of the corners bent.I opened a claim and 2 weeks later they responded by saying their insurance can only pay $9 dollars for the destroyed and useless door and fender. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS !!! This company is a joke and don’t care about their customers or freight. If you want your products delivered in the same condition it was shipped and don’t want to lose hundreds of dollars worth of damage, then use a different company.

Notice all positive reviews are from staff. You won’t find one happy customer. Terrible business, don’t ever use this company. Will destroy your items and customer service will beat around the bush and then will only refund you $10 for a $500 item. What a joke.

Don’t deal with this company they don’t treat there freight professionally. It’s trash for them, should change your company to dump transport.
