I just called to see if my pictures were ready for pick up. The cashier tells me she's the only one working and can't go look....I know that not true.

The pharmacist Alyssa is not friendly by any means. Her communication skills and customer service could really use some training. I have been using this pharmacy for 10 years and I genuinely like it despite the select few employees they have that should probably be let go.

I went to Drummond island with Michigan’s premiere overlanding group, mitten state tours. I stumbled into a ton of poison ivy. The pharmacist helped me get the right products and truly cared for my well being.

This location has been my go-to pharmacy for a few years. I'm not exactly sure why I stayed, because the pharmacy itself is slow as molasses. Believe it or not, the drive-thru is actually faster on most occasions than going inside. There is one particular pharmacy tech that is incredibly rude, and she is there often. I truly dread going to the counter if I see her working. And don't even try to go to the photo counter here - you will stand there for a long time before anyone even acknowledges your presence. I got a passport photo taken here, and it was rejected by the USPS for guidelines.

Dropped a couple disposables off to be developed.. after finally getting someone to help me… the uninformative employee said it would take 7-10 days, and they would call me when they were in. After two weeks I call and they are indeed ready. When I pick them up the sticker on them says pick-up “4/08/23 @ 5pm”. I called on 4/25…. He had to search through bins full of peoples photos who are probably waiting on a call that they’re done… seems like there is a lot of laziness going on here. Was hoping it would be convenient to get pictures here, but will definitely find somewhere else next time.

Called to see if my prescription that I have been getting filled every four weeks for ten years was ready this afternoon, She said yes. I stopped after a long days work abd she said it was out of stock. I have to take every day. I asked why they did not call me. She said she just got there so how would she know. I asked what store I could get it at. She said she had no idea. I asked when they were getting it in abd she said in a few days. When I got home I called the pharnacist to get this resolved. After being on hold for 15 minutes she said she was aware of my dissatisfaction so she cancelled the order, to call the doctor and get a new prescription. Between that busy office and insurance that will yake a week.I lost my temper and pointed out that my eife and I had been shoppng there for 26 years and spent over $100,000,00 dollars. She said it was her first day and would not know that. I told her if she did help resolve this problem by transferring the script to Plainfield, which I had done before, (they have thee things called computers that track everything I buy, so they knew I was coming in and should have ordered some. I don't think I am the only one with high blood pressue in Comstock Park), I said I would no longer shop there. She actually said, "OK, I don't really care!"

This recently became my neighborhood Walgreens. Every time I've stopped in, Chris has been there and is very welcoming and helpful! They always have my preferred champagne in stock and at much cheaper prices then grocery stores! So far this location has been great!

I had to listen to a rude and entitled sounding employee named Michelle as she spoke disrespectfully to another coworker who seems like a newer employee. It was unprofessional. I'd rather not listen to that while I'm trying to shop. The other newer employee was kind and friendly to me when I checked out.

Great place to stop in quick and grab what you need. Or you can use the drive through to pick up prescriptions.

Cashier didn't greet me (hardly any eye contact) and had to tell her I had Walgreens reward membership after she totaled my cost of goods.

I hate to give any place a single star and I was willing to look past all the other minor issues but there is a major problem that happened here that could have cost me my life. This is a long post but I think it's necessary to explain exactly what happened.I was having an acute episode of anxiety and depression to the extent that I was sobbing on the shower floor with cold water hitting me for half an hour because I couldn't be bothered to turn it off when it stopped being warm. I later broke down crying on my kitchen floor unable to pull myself together, in the same fashion. I have never been at such a low point, ever, in my life.I had gone to urgent care after being urged to by my therapist, and then to my doctor the day after because urgent care's prescription of hydroxyzine couldn't even touch the anxiety. My doctor prescribed me Xanax which I have taken before for dental visits, because I know it works at least okay for me.So the problem: Walgreens gave me 4 .5mg doses. My doctor had ordered FIFTEEN .5mg doses intended to get me through to the next appointment. I did not know this until I showed up at my next appointment with her and I happened to bring my remaining 2 pills, intending to show her that I was trying very hard to make them last and not abuse them. When she found out what happened she was flabbergasted.I am lucky that I had other resources (cannabis and the ability to call an on-call doctor and ask for advice) but for a person in crisis without those resources this could have resulted in suicide.Shame on whoever made the mistake. I am absolutely baffled that this happened. Thank God I brought those two pills with me to my appointment because my doctor and I would have never realized the mistake and I could have very well gone off the deep end without stabilizing medication; she redid the prescription and I actually have what I need now. Also, those of you who have dealt with benzos or other drugs that are commonly abused know the risk of being labelled a drug seeker by your doctor. If I had not brought that pill bottle with me and had asked my doctor for more Xanax, I very well could have had that put into my medical records, because of this pharmacy's gross, negligent error.Lesser problems I have experienced prior to this include: getting seemingly endless phone calls about insurance "issues" that they then had no idea about when I came in to deal with them; having to wait over an hour for a prescription after checking in three times; and basically mediocre service in general where I never know whether an educated pharmacist will be available to thoroughly go over side effects etc. I am one of those annoying people who researches all of my medications myself anyway so that's not a big deal but good luck to anyone who doesn't do that...I can only hope other pharmacies around me are better and I'm going to ask my doctor to tell me exactly how much they are prescribing to me, every time, so I can make sure this doesn't happen ever again, but I should not have to do that especially not when I am in acute mental crisis.
