“Came in at 3 on dot guys were friendly but herd them constantly complaining about how they close at 3 people should know blah blah blah. Made me feel uncomfortable with level of service I received. Got oil change and two services prolly shouldn't have.....I'm reposting now I've been there again today and customer service was off the charts this time I gave them another time round and they blew me away....I will return...feeling bad about first post but hey they couldn't done better glad I came again tho.....”

“Upstanding, honest!! Got me in quick both times I have used them, first replaced my transmission, this time I had a "phantom leak" that was diagnosed by another company. So of course I took it back to Bobs, cause they did the original work. They could have gouged and unknowing customer, instead, they said we have no money to be made here and we diagnosed it at no charge to you 3 years later!! “I have been using Bob's transmission in Jenison for years now. They are the most honest and trustworthy shop that I have used over the years. My first experience was with my personal truck, they fixed it fast and were awesome to work with. I now oversee a fleet of 40 vehicles and if I have any issues with the fleet, we send it straight to Bob's. With an aging fleet of vehicles we are bound to have issues and I never worry. They take care of us and everyone else that we have ever sent them for service. “**Update - 12/17/23 - Broke another axle, different one than last time and if I could give 10 stars I would. Google wouldn't let me create a new review. I called, showed up an hr later and Scott had me diagnosed in 1 min, pulled a truck out of a bay and had me in within 5 mins. Tech had the old axle out, cleaned the tube and new axle with seal back in. I think this took 10 mins and I was back in service in less time than you get an oil change. This type of customer service puts every business to shame.**original ReviewIt gets no better than this place. I broke an axle in a semi, called and talked to Scott the owner and he had me in like Nascar. Axles out, inspected, housing cleaned out and fluid drained/filled and back on the road in 30 mins. This kind of service is unheard of now a days and they gave me years of experienced knowledge by answering every dumb question I had. The tech who did the work was outstanding and diligent. The pricing is beyond fair.”

“The staff here are really friendly. They take the time to explain everything about the car in detail. Even though they couldn’t fix it right away (probably because they had a lot of other customers), they did a perfect job as soon as the parts arrived, even test driving it to make sure everything was good. I was especially grateful that, unlike other shops that might charge extra, this place (at least in my case) gave me a much more affordable and reasonable price than expected. I hope they continue serving the local community for a long time, and I definitely recommend this shop!”

“Great Lakes Carwash is the best self-serve carwash in the area. The stalls and vacuum areas have always been clean for me. They accept both card and quarters at the stalls, and quarters only at the vacuums. They have a change machine if you need to exchange dollars for quarters.Be mindful if you use a card. Push the button on the card reader when you're done so your session ends. I accidentally paid for someone else's wash my first time here, which is my bad for not reading the instructions. :) The costs of using both the washers and the vacuums are more than fair, and I'm a slowpoke.As a bonus, during winter, hot water is used so you don't get ice sickles on your ride. It is never busy there for me on Sunday mornings, but other days and times you may have a line. If you need to clean your car, give this place a try.”

“Called 10 other shops in town. Earl’s was the only one willing/able to work on my 1983 Toyota, and they did an incredible job! Ignacio replaced my clutch and fixed up the root cause. Could tell he was proud of the work as he showed me everything under the hood before I paid, even though I showed up to pick up after 5pm on a weekday.
