“Cute local shop with a variety of cooking, food, and alcohol choices available, with much of the selection being local companies. The beer cooler is so fun to peruse and there are lots of unique wine and liquor choices as well. A great shop to find something for the foodie in your life.”
“Great selection. One stop shop for all your adult beverage needs.
They have a brewer equipment side with grain and hops and equipment for all your brewing needs. It makes it a great place to get all your "brewing" needs whether in ingredient or libation form. Don't forget to check out the cooler for cider and kombucha selections. Probably the best beer store around.”
“A fun and neat little place. They don't have the best or all encompassing selection but there is bound to be something to get you by. I do enjoy the tastings they run in the store.”
“The store has the alcohol I went in for and was less expensive! I’ll definitely be buying more here. The salesman was very helpful and kind. I was looking for a bottle of Rum called Demmarrera from Guyana that I hadn’t seen for a while, but no luck. I’ll keep my eyes open at other establishments.”
“We just moved to Grand Rapids recently and found this gem near our place. They have a great selection and very nice staff that is always welcoming and friendly when we are there. Won’t be buying alcohol anywhere else!”

“Convenient good quality specialty store. Great if you need to get some perishables or just a snack. Deli has meal items like fresh lasagna and meatloaf. A pizza oven if you want pizza. The wine selection is good as well. I would recommend this place to stop and see for yourself. You will be returning.”
“Most definitely the go-to spot. They seem to have it all. I looked all over Grand Rapids for Eagle Rare and of course the Grape Vine had it!? This place never fails me.”

“Not a bad store they have meat reasonably priced, also there's hot meals u can buy in the store of different kinds of foods. Their produce seems to be fresh. I mean a lot of people don't like going into that part of town but I haven't had no issues with it. But overall not a bad store check it out for yourself.”
“Have had nothing but great experiences here! The owner is always super kind and helpful and will regularly strike up a conversation with people who frequent the shop on a regular basis. You can tell he takes pride in his store and keeping the place looking nice. Highly recommend coming here!”
“The owner, Vishu, is so great! He is so nice and the client service is amazing. They have a great product selection and are always in stock. This is a great party store to shop at for sure!”
“Gerks is our jam I dont have anything negative to say about the old owners or the new. Change is change but you gotta give people a chance. Shout out to the new owners - from Captain boy and bacardi pineapple girl. ?”
“A Good supply of known bourbons. I was from out of town and found a new favorite without asking. It would be nice if the clerk could have communicated in English.”
“The owner is one of the friendliest guys I've ever had the pleasure of talking to. Always willing to help every customer make a selection and has a very friendly attitude! Highly recommend”
“Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. They have an amazing assortment of beers, wines, and spirits. Decent snack selection and they also have other accessories you can purchase. Prices are great and they also have a fridge dedicated for chilled spirits. I highly recommend this spot if you are in the area.”

“Very nice and friendly place to frequent and shop - owner is is extremely nice and reasonable and fun to do business with. Very clean and well stocked store - safe place, feeling right at home while shopping for any and every of your party beverage entertainment needs. very pleasant located at the corner of Coit and eastern on the NE side of Plainfield.”
“Excellent selection and price! The dudes that run the place are always jovial and happy to answer any questions and more often than not will wind up pointing out their deals on comparable products.”
“Boyfriend and I bought a vape that didn’t work. Came back in from the parking lot to get a new one that actually works but they said they wouldn’t do anything. We were clearly frustrated. But they redeemed themselves and gave him a free vape the next time he went in. They’re good people.”
“Ana is wonderful, she takes the time to get to know the people in her neighborhood and is one of the most hardworking people I know. Kudos for a nice facelift of the store and keeping the people of midtown quenched.”
“Love the owners!! Been goin there for 13 years!! My mom and brother are VIP there lolJkBut the store is clean and if she isn’t smiling I ask her to do so and she does?”
“What an awesome little find! So it's basically like a bare bones dollar store with old fashioned candy jars and ice cream shop attached. It has this glorious old home scent that reminds me of the Victorian home my aunt purchased and lived in. They have all the basics here in terms of basic (very basic) grocery items and soft drinks. A delicious neighborhood general store that brought a smile on my face. Small but just delightful!”

“Always bittersweet. Great prices and products, but rushing to checkout then having to bag everything gets a little tiring. Prices are worth the extra footwork, though.”
“The only place I want to get my wine moving forward. Incredible knowledgeable staff with strong recommendations. They even have a $15 and under table! Will be coming here often.”
“Tried looking for a beer from Korea called Kloud. Unfortunately, they do not sell it. However they do have very similar one, made the same way called Grolsch. It is so smooth and doesn't leave you bloated-just like Kloud. So for those looking for a smooth non-bloating beer, you can find Grolsch, in bottle form, in the far back freezer.”
“Always take my kids here for candy, u can find it cheap alot of variety. The lotto tickets though, 70% percent of the time they are winners. My spot for lucky scratch offs.”

“Excellent selection. Beer fridge is very cold so the drinks are too. Good prices. Employees are friendly but also don't want to talk my ear off. The kind of small business I want to support with my money.”
“I cannot compliment enough how friendly all the employees are, except one I continue to have very uncomfortable experiences with so still rating 4/5. The much older female who works there, every single time challenges that my state issued Michigan Drivers license with multiple driving endorsements is either fake or not me. I'm 26 years old and have a full beard. I shop there at least 4 times a week and this has happened on at least 20 occasions. Today I was challenged to repeat my address publicly in front of multiple people to prove that it was truly my license. At this point I don't know whether its innocent forgetfulness of regular customers along with issues identifying ages of people of other races/serious sight problems or blatant harassment. But in either case I will walk right back out the door if she is working at that time from now on.”
“This the best liquor store on 44th street and best service and organizing. I don’t know why people goes to gas stations or to big markets this store is proving almost every kind of liquor in (state minimum)beer wine and some regular grocery stuff in cheaper prices?”
“I do love this store! The staff is always helpful and kind. They have even ordered things I have found online, that they do not carry in the store. They have tons of craft beers (even some gluten free options) and a great selection of wines. Even some fun snacks and sometimes local cheese! Highly recommend!”
