Never met a more rudely staffed park in the country. It's like some Karen is renting their sub par yard

We had a very delicious lunch with friends today. We did the Chose 2 we chose was soup and sandwich - one garden fresh turkey and potato soup, and one was half a spud (they are big potatoes!) and soup. The ice tea was great as always, too. Dessert was a generous slice of carrot cake. So good!!

They have an attendant at the gate that doesn't take card and can't make change. What the heck.

I always have a good time here. Sometimes it's a busy place and other times not so much. Either way, there is plenty of room. We like to take the inflatable rafts out to the middle and jump in, life vests are worn by all. For $5 per car to visit a clean facility and well kept grounds it's hard to beat.

Our favorite swimming spot close to South Portage. Bathroom available. Water is usually warm! Can sit in the grass and even find shade on one end of the beach! With some sand for digging still part of the beach. My kids spend a minimum of 3 hours playing in the water/sand each time we go.Playground: A few swings and one metal slide.Restrooms: One available for use.

This park for what we went for was not good. We live in Mississippi and we were up here visiting. We just wanted somewhere to put our toes in the water and let my son play. The “playground” had two swings each for baby and bigger kids and one slide. The “beach” was not great either. The sand bar is tiny so you have ti sit in the grass. We were very displeased just because the photos online made it seem like much more. Especially because you have to pay to get in.

Great dog park for the yearly price! I especially love the woods that are connected to the park! For the most part the dog owners are great and attentive to their dogs!
