My mother had an Emergency with one of her animals, whoever answered was very rude and cold-hearted and acting like it was no big deal period but she was gonna make a point that the only thing that they had seen the cats for was to be spaded. She was more worried about that than the fact that the animal is having a issue. I also until today was a customer there as well. Who took my 4 dogs and my 4 cats there? After that phone call, I will be looking for a new vet.Very bad and unprofessional customer service I would not recommend and will not be returning.

Used Dr. Lane from about 2017 to present with my best friend, Nala. He treated her excellent all the years. Would give him "5 stars" if not for Nala's last 2 days alive...
What happened: my girlfriend woke up and saw our dog, Nala collapse. This was very unusual for Nala. In fact, it's never happened before. Dr. Lane knew of Nala's worsening condition (undiagnosed) over the past 2 years. It was about 7am this Thursday morning so I waited for what felt like an eternity for Dr. Lane to open hoping I could call him and get a consult. I knew he couldn't fix her, I just wanted to get his feedback on what we should do (bring her in from Goshen, IN, get her put down, get medicine, etc.) so I called and this how it went:
Hannah answered "Dr. Lane veterinarian, how can I help you?"
I responded "Hi Hannah, it's Brenden calling for Nala, she collapsed this morning, can you please ask Dr. Lane what I should do or a best course of action or put him on the phone for 5 minutes."
She responded "I'm so sorry to hear, dear - I'm not sure what he'll tell you or what you can do.." I then pushed & pleaded and told her to run my card and I would be happy to pay for the time to just have him call me..
She responded "I'll try to have him call you, hun but no promises"... This was back in February, it is now June and we still haven't received that call.
That morning I talked to a local vet in Goshen and persuaded them to let us bring Nala in for a consult and examination. Found an excellent doctor who instantly knew it was Nala's final few days..
We were up with Nala all that night force-feeding her pedialyte as she was unable to move from her bed and she was dehydrating. 3 Nurses came the next morning to our apartment and put her to sleep surrounded by her family.

Very nice staff. Even tho they were not able to help us with an emergency visit for a friend's dog they were very helpful in giving us information on where we could go to receive help.

Very caring and thorough with exams. I recently moved back to the area and had a bad experience elsewhere, so I sought out a new vet. I feel that they accurately triage to meet the needs of the animals within a small space and staff really well and I'm sure if I was very concerned to be seen sooner than schedule allows, they'd go above and beyond to make sure my pet would be OK. It's a tough balance to strike, so I applaud them for an efficient and caring approach that meets the needs for all clients.

Dr. Lane came out Monday and put my dog down that was 14 years old. The weather wasn't great and it was getting late. I'm so happy with the way he handled everything, explained everything. He came to our home in coldwater for this. Highly recommend!
