I visited your store at Somerset Mall on December 21, 2023 at the height of the Christmas Season in search of shiny opaque tights, I had seen an ad on instagram with Wolford and Sergio Rossi collab and went in the store inquiring about the product. I was met with a blonde older woman who stated "these European Countries" in response to my statement as to where I saw the ad and what the ad was about when explaining what I was looking for. The lady then said that collab ended long ago in America! The lady showed me a pair of tights and told me the tights were 40 Denier. The lady told me she had been with the company for 9 years and she was certain these tights were the right item. I went home, did some online searching and realized 40 is NOT opaque. I called into Wolford customer service and was advised to go back to the store to return the tights. I returned to the store on December 22, 2023, the next day, and she was highly upset when I told her I called customer service. The lady stated that there was no reason for me to call customer service and asked why I called. I explained to her that I was not confident with the information she provided and she insulted customer service and said again, "I am not sure why you would call customer service". I then said to her "why are you so angry". she stated because "you called customer service". Throughout the return transaction she continued to insult the company and my decision, I then said to her that she does not get paid enough to be so rude to me because I want to return. The lady commenced to raise her voice and say "I have been here for 9 years". The next statement was "you obviously can't afford the tights and that's why you need to return''. At this point I approached her and said "do not ever disrespect me" I am not required to keep the purchase. She then got very close to my body in a threatening manner and I advised.her NOT to touch me, at which point she said "I will just call security". I told her that I was leaving but they would only be arresting her ignorance. This lady was a plain RACIST! To state that I could not afford the tights told me that she felt that way. This lady was unhinged and did not like being questioned. This was the most disrespectful display of spending my money that I have ever experienced. I did place an online order later but I WOULD NOT visit this store especially if you are a minority. They don't want you in this store particular this caucasian older fried blonde hair lady who has worked there for 9 years. It was utterly ridiculous the way she behaved because I wanted to return the purchase.
