This store is excellent . They go above and beyond to make their customers happy and taken care of . I had a ship to store item that I came in to pick up and I was a day early . I think his name was Shawn. (I told you I would write this). He greeted me promptly , heard my issue , and offered to send it to my home free of charge because I live across town . That just made my day . 5 Star all day long . Also , I will tell all my boating buddies where to shop . PERFECTION Thank You , Dan

This place can't even get your order right. Guy literally called me to tell me he gave away the product I ordered, AFTER HE PICKED IT. Should have just cancelled the entire order at that point because he then proceeded to sell my wife an absolutely inferior product. Upon arrival, the male worker there was rude to my wife, and the best help he was able to provide her was "you can find it online." Will never go back to this place, there are plenty of other stores around.

West Marine has always been overpriced but they have a store front down the street so I've patronized them countless times over the past 15 years. I just stopped in to return two items ($250+), but because I did not have the receipt they refused to even give me store credit. It could not have been more obvious the items were from West Marine, I'm even a Member of the "club" but for some reason when I bought these items it was not under my membership. I guess I will avoid West Marine for now on and just use Amazon.

Although they didn't have what I was looking for, the staff is friendly and helpful. There are lots of goodies for boaters. And plenty of things to be adapted to us land-lubbers too.
