Amazing place! I came in looking for samples but had no idea what I was looking for. Sienna greeted me immediately and guided me to the showroom to explain the options. I showed her a picture of my stores branding and she recommended a few designs I love! There were a lot more designs than I expected! I would definitely recommend to everyone, I’m very happy I chose to come here!

I'll say they were friendly in the store. Probably cuz they wanted our business and money. Well that's where it stopped. When our tile installer came to drop off the tile 2 of the boxes of tile were shattered because the fork lift operator ran into it with the forks and didn't say anything. Then somehow our sales agent put on our order we wanted the floor tile also on the ceiling. ? Prior to placing the order they never went over it with us to be sure it was correct. ? Needless to say all this set the project back 2 weeks.
If you are still determined to go with Virginia then don't depend on them to get the order correct you'll need to do that and before you pick it up have them physically look at it to be sure none of it is broken.
For what a person is paying ($$$$) for the product this should be done automatically by them not you. Well, you would think that anyway.

If you are in the market to renovate a room in your home and need tile, I highly recommend Virginia Tile in Troy. We met with Emily Ewing at the store yesterday, having never been through a renovation before, and left with samples of our soon to be beautiful primary bathroom in just over an hour!
Neither of us knew what we wanted or where to begin, but only had thoughts about what we “didn’t like”. Emily took one look at a single picture we’d downloaded off the internet that we liked, and immediately pulled samples that we immediately loved and felt like “us” - as if she “just knew”. We learned so much as she guided us through pros, cons, design ideas and considerations. Emily was patient with our questions, and she really took the time to listen and guide us. We went into the appointment not knowing at all what to expect and a bit overwhelmed after looking at so many ideas on the internet, but Emily really made the experience fun - she took out any sense of “overwhelm” and streamlined everything down quickly, so decisions were easy! If you’re not sure where to begin, we’d highly recommend making an appointment with Emily! We’ll be back to see her our kitchen and powder room upcoming renovations for sure. Thank you, Emily, for a fantastic experience!

The showroom doesn’t have much to look at in the way of inspirational ideas. And the staff was less than enthusiastic. I roamed around for a few minutes. A staff member who didn’t introduce herself, came out from behind the desk after I asked for assistance. I showed my photo ideas and they didn’t have anything comparable to what I was looking for. It was a quick, disappointing trip.
Their hours are also very limited for those working during the days.

Stopped in without an appointment to choose tile for a master bath renovation. Emily Ewing was our consultant and she was amazing. Knowledgable, helpful and made the experience (which can be very overwhelming) a pleasure. I would recommend and refer to Emily at Virginia Tile anytime!
