Don't do business here. These are your typical, run of the mill used car salesmen.Husband called to inquire about a car. He asked the salesman if they're willing to negotiate on the price, if they'd be willing to take a different price. Salesman (Joe) said he would have to ask the manager because he doesn't set the prices. Fair. Joe then said he would give us a call back to let us know. Great, no problem. A few hours pass and we never heard back, so we called the dealership back and asked if he was able to get an answer for us on the price. We couldn't remember Joe's name at the time so the gal who answered said "Oh, I think you spoke with Joe. Let me ask if he got any answers for you and he'll get back to you." At this point it's phone tag, but okay, he's busy, we get it, we'll wait for the call.We get a call back a few minutes later from Joe and he says that the manager couldn't drop the price as much as we wanted, which is fine, so we ask "What's the lowest you'd be willing to go?" And Joe responded "We're not willing to go any lower because someone actually came and put it on hold. If they back out on it, we can give you a call." Joe did not mention this in the first phone call. He had every opportunity to call us back and say "We're not open to offers, price is firm, and folks put it on hold for full price already." That's a simple phone call to make. But no, we apparently insulted this man to the point where he decided he didn't want our money or to do business with us because we asked to negotiate. I was on this last phone call, when husband was talking to Joe, and when Joe offered us the vehicle if these folks back out, I said "No, absolutely not." Joe then said "Someone said no in the background?" And I said, "Yes, an unhappy wife." He then says, "Unhappy with me or the husband?" Flagrant jerk. Yes, we're unhappy with you, and your snide little remark asking who I'm unhappy with was sarcastic and unnecessary. Ford may want to retrain it's salesmen on how to communicate with their potential customers. Anyone reading this, I promise your hard-earned money is better off anywhere else but in the hands of these a-holes. Don't give these used car salesmen a penny.Good luck with luring in your next suckers, guys! Go get 'em!

Took my car in to get an oil change. The young man came out and stated I need a air filter and wiper blades. I ok'd the wiper blades but told him twice no to the air filter. I felt he was wasn't listening that is why I repeated my self. Went to pay and he charges me for the air filter. I told him I didn't authorize the air filter. He stated all he could do is give me 10 dollar off. 10 dollar off what I don't want? I decided to call the manager. Called him and left a message no call back. Last time I go their. It's o obvious customer service is lacking.

They did a horrible job on my passenger side airbags on two of my cars. My dash board is now popping up in spots and they claim it's a product issue due to heat warping, Problem is both my cars are that way now an never that way before. I call BS!

Elder Ford of Troy has great service, and a family oriented environment. The service department greets you as you pull your car into the service lane, and gets straight to the point of what you would like done (inspection or otherwise). The service manager Joe is heavily involved in his job, constantly taking calls from customers and sending a mechanic your way that he feels best fits the job. Mike and Al (mechanics in the service department) are fantastic at what they do and strive to give the best experience possible. In the used car department, the used car manager Zaid walked me through paperwork, a test drive, and plating my vehicle. He was very friendly. I take all of my cars to this dealership, and drive every one that i've bought, off the same lot.

The service here is horrible! I'm not one to complain but it's gotten even worse than in previous years. Not a fan and wouldn't trust these guys with my car!

Buying a car from a dealership you'd expect a certain level of respect from the salesperson. It's kind of a big purchase. Being greeted by a maskless salesman in a room with 6 other maskless salespeople while I'm there with my 67 year old mother a year into a pandemic and A STATE MANDATE, is disrespectful. And to excuse your actions because you wear glasses? I also work in service, 55+ hours a week, and I wear a mask. It's uncomfortable. So the money I earned through this pandemic I worked harder for, more than any year. So I'm definitely not going to spend that money where someone can't show my mother and I the same respect I show for my customers everyday for a $10 sandwich.

I had a wonderful experience here. They made buying my used Lincoln MKC very easy. I was very busy at the time and they were very understanding and worked around my schedule. The car was exactly as described and I have had no issues yet. I was very happy with my purchase. I was convinced to buy the Ford extended warranty plan and I was very happy I did. It gives me extra peace of mind knowing that I'm covered. I didn't think it was worth it at first, but with the technology that is included in these cars nowadays, I didn't want to be stuck with a massive bill if something did go wrong. Lastly, I would also like to say their service department here is superb. The customer service is like no other. I have a Lincoln Dealership closer to me, but I will bring my Lincoln back to Elder Ford of Troy every time because of how great they have been. If you are looking for a car, I recommend going here. They gave me the lowest interest rates of any other dealership and not once did I feel anything was sketchy. I cannot say that about the other Lincoln Dealerships that I went to, but I can say that about Elder Ford. They are truly worth visiting.

This review is for the service department. I requested two back-to-back appointments for "The Works" package through Google messenger and received a response within five minutes. It was very fast and easy to use. I dropped the first car off after hours. The first car was done by 7:45 am (that fast!!) and I received a text and voice mail from Bobby. I dropped off the second car by 8:30 am. For the second car, it's 15+ years old, so it also needed a new serpent belt, air filter and tire valve stem, which I approved (~$200). Three things that made this a great experience. 1). I didn't have to pay in between vehicle service; I drove my first car home and waited for the second car to be done before paying for both. I've owned two vehicles for 20+ years and always get them serviced at the same time and this was a nice convenience. 2). I didn't have to ask for my car to get washed. They went ahead and did it. I've noticed in the last five years, you have to ask for the car wash and it's no longer customary. 3). Real-time text updates and immediate responses from Bobby. He was very straightforward and easy to work with.

My lease was coming to a closing I had went to another location however this place was closer to home so I thought I'd pop in to see what they had to offer. The first person to greet me was Aaron V. I let him know what I was looking for and he was a gem. I previously owned a 2017 Escape and was interested in a newer model. He went over the options with me and new features of the vehicle. Also showed me other options. I wanted to keep my price point down and keep the same vehicle type so he showed me the different costs of each feature down payment etc. With still a month until my lease ended I decided to come back later. A few weeks prior to my lease ending I stopped in just to check what they had left on the lot. With the asked for Aaron and he remembered me and was awesome with the process. If you want someone who isn't pushy but will help with your buying experience he is your man. It was a smooth transition into my new ride. He also followed up to make sure I was happy with my purchase. After receiving my new vehicle he helped me with the app and showed me the new features that weren't on my prior vehicle. Also the manager Todd stopped by while we were going over everything . He is fantastic is you have any concerns he will help you out. The phone system was off,, he made sure to address the situation. Great guy who is taking charge and making things happen. Overall great place you need a Ford dealership go here and ask for Aaron

I have just picked up my 5th new F150 supercrew from Elder Ford since 2010. The sales staff especially Aaron Vleck and sales manager Todd Hanoosh have been extremely helpful and professional throughout each purchase. If you are looking for a vehicle, this is definitely the best dealership around, I have shopped and priced vehicles at EVERY local Ford dealer and I always buy here because they are honest and always have given me the best prices and experience PERIOD !
