Did learn to make macarons. But too many people in small space. Teacher put all the baked macarons on one sheet and the other two in our group took all our perfect product and left us with all their odd size macarons. Skimpy amount to take home. Teacher is very rushed add on a few more minutes would be nice.

I registered for a class and after paying was unable to attend. I called the location and was informed I could get a full refund or re schedule. After calling a different 800 number several times and sending multiple emails, they finally responded a week after the class and said " sorry you can't have a refund because the class has already been held". I am giving a 2 star review because 1 star would be unfair as I didn't attend the class. Based on only my experience with their customer service it would be 1 star for sure.UPDATE/// the head chef called me and offered a credit toward a future class. I hope the mix up was just confusion between offices and will review after we attend the class.

HAPPY TO MODIFY THE REVIEW BELOW: Regional manager Jim addressed my concerns. I felt like the listened, and I am happy to go back and give another class a try. We'll see how it goes--but 5 stars for excellent service and great follow up.I attended a baking class at this location today. I was so excited but I must say it was a complete letdown.

Attended a cooking class, “Italian steakhouse”, and I must say it was a total disappointment. The instructor was very kind, but I was incredibly unimpressed with the quality of the food. The meat itself seemed very low-quality, and it was highly encouraged to use tons of vegetable or canola oil. I thought it was common knowledge now that vegetable oils are toxic! I surely didn’t think that what was supposed to be a high-end meal would be cooked in low quality toxic oils. Also, by the time we ate the meal, the meat was very cold as they had us peruse the store for 30 minutes before we were able to eat what we had cooked.

A very consistent store. The customer service is always poor. The employees act like retired preachers (always offering unsolicited advice). I’m amazed at how badly they make me feel when I ask for assistance. ??????

What a wonderful experience. Delicious meal, meeting new friends and learning a new way for me of cooking. Grilling is the best. Great chef with loads of knowledge. Thanks.

If you're looking for a fun and informative cooking class, Sur La Table should be at the top of your list. I recently took the Date Night cooking class with my partner, and while I was initially hesitant to be paired with another couple, I couldn't have been happier with the experience. The class was well-organized, with 16 people split into four groups of four. Our chef was fantastic and very personable. We loved hearing about her other endeavors in the community in the world of culinary education for youth in the area. Her passion for cooking was infectious, and she made the class both informative and fun.During the class, we learned a lot of cooking techniques that we usually wouldn't have learned on our own. The hands-on approach was great, as we were able to practice the skills we learned in real-time. By the end of the class, we had prepared a delicious meal that we were proud of.As a bonus, we were offered a store discount as part of taking the class. This was a great perk, as we were able to purchase some of the tools we used in class to practice our new skills at home.Overall, the cooking class at Sur La Table was an excellent experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, the chef was knowledgeable, and we came away with new skills that we can use in our own kitchen. I would highly recommend taking a class here, whether you're a seasoned cook or just starting out. It's a great way to have fun, learn something new, and improve your cooking skills.

Do NOT do their cooking classes!1)You have to work In groups of 4, which changes the whole dynamic.2)The gnocchi and steak were beyond disgusting. You have to split a thin piece of flavourless steak between you and ur partner and as an Italian these so called gnocchi will haunt me forever and make my Italian ancestors roll in their graves3) be prepared to go for dinner right after4)If you want to have a comic date night then do it, or do urself a favour and spend the money for a nice dinner with your partner elsewhere.

Very disappointed in the steak cooking class structure. Instructor was great! We assumed it would be the two of us cooking a meal together as it was advertised as a date night. Instead we shared cooking the meal with the couple next to us in a very small space. Nothing to drink was included - not water, wine or anything. After spending $180.00 would have expected each individual to have their own steak and own experience - and maybe a glass of wine. To top it off, we ate standing up in the same space. This should not be a direct reflection of the instructor.

Only the best kitchenware options for passionate home cooks and up, no clutter items like some other stores. The class here was really well put together, everything ran smoothly and we finished off the class by having a meal with what we learned to cook.

The chef and her assistants were fabulous and the croissants we made today were delicious! Only complaint was that the class ran late because they only had one working oven. I was surprised that they didn’t have all working equipment! I would do another baking class but would want the oven to be fixed or replaced first.

I don't have a reason to visit often but my husband and I were there on December 22nd. They were quite busy in the store and there was a class going on as well. Tom was working the cash register and he couldn't have been more pleasant. He was hustling for sure but had the most amazing attitude and was so great even though the chaos of everything! I'll be back and it will mostly be because of him.
