ZERO RATTING (had to add a star to complete). 3 months without a refridgerator, had a technition at the house 3 months ago, he said that the parts were ordered and would be in, in a week. I have called every week and have been told that the parts would be in soon I would get an email with my repair appointment in a week, and again has been going on for 3 months and on top of that sears has been trying to bill me for the part and service that has never been received. when I call them about the bill, the service department hangs up me. worst customer service ever. couldnt get a new refridgerator because of the wait time. I called a private repairman he got the part in 3 days and having it installed tomorrow for $400 dollars cheaper than what sears was charging me.

I have the warranty that I pay for monthly for my Sears Home Warranty and trying to get them to come out after you pay your deductible is impossible. They know how to make appointments, but absolutely don't know how to keep them. First, they give you a nine hour window frame (so that means taking the day off work) Next, they cancel your appointment after the sixth or seventh hour of waiting. OR they don't show up at all. This is now my fifth day I have taken off in two weeks. Finally, don't waste your money nor your time on this company. I can now see why the stores failed. Customer service is a joke also. Everyone just passes the buck and you get absolutely nowhere. I give them negative stars. I wish they had a way to give zero stars

Dishwasher broken. The technician Tim came and lied to me on how old the dishwasher was and the replacement cost all to make a sale. I called to cancel the next day. Just became all impossible to get the refund back. Never seen such a predatory business

Doesn't even deserve one star. Made my appointment a week in advance. Waited all day until 4pm and then they rescheduled. Such a waste of a day and so disappointed. Stay away!

Technicians we're great, but the "labor" charge was way out of line! $400 for about 1 hour total. I would NOT use this service again.

Since Sears went bankrupt they no longer honor their warranties. I had a roof in central air put in by steers which is no longer covered under warranty because of their bankruptcy.

They took my $$ up front! Yes I know- d*** move- their salesman knew from the start that if they failed to communicate with me that I would cancel. Well after hours of my time wasted, no one communicated for almost 72 hours. They had sworn to call the next day. So I cancelled, and went with CLINTON AIR and got my AC and furnace installed for $3000 LESS than Sears quoted me!! What a JOKE!! Save you $$ and save your time. Go elsewhere!!

We had a technician out in January 2021. He ordered a couple of parts for our fridge and they never came back. I guess he closed the ticket on mistake, and the parts never came anyway. When I called they said they would reschedule the repair but wanted to charge me for the visit again. I submitted for a refund but they said I can't get the diagnostic fee back. Still waiting to see if I get the rest of my money back for the parts and additional labor I already paid for.

I have never been so frustrated with a repair service as I have been with Sears. Long story, but I have been waiting two months for parts. I understand a delay due to the pandemic but, their customer service is the most ineffective I have ever experienced. They never follow up, although they always promise to get back to you in 2-3 days You cannot talk to anyone in the US. They claim not to have a phone number for anyone in the US and in fact don't even know where they are located. I called the corporate headquarters in Hoffman Estates in Illinois. Out of desperation I asked for HR - this too is overseas! This is a scam of a company.

SEARS Home Services was supposed to come to my home July 2, 2020 to give me a siding quote. I waited around for an hour and 10 minutes. They were a "no show." They didn't even bother to e-mail me to cancel.

Someone came to our house and gave us a sales pitch for 45 minutes. Never gave us a quote. After sitting in silence for 10 minutes while he typed on his computer we finally had to ask him to leave because it was getting late. I appreciated that they come out after business hours but it was a waste of time because we never even got a quote which was the whole point.

Warning: Sears and Craftsman have the worst service and do NOT honor their warranty! In June 2018 my husband and I purchased a new Sears Craftsman Tool Chest, we had to pick-up our own chest, discovered missing parts: Hex screws, and nuts, but so far, we were okay about contacting Sears for replacement parts, but here's where we were disappointed: 3 hours later, after transferring our call to different people, no resolution was made. Next day, another contact through Sears redirected us to Craftsman and Craftsman back to Sears...(Craftsman, who told us these parts are no longer available and the product was discontinued.) Sadly, 3.5 hours later, still no solution, except for a recommendation to call the executive level at a later date, since it was a friday. Okay, following monday, we spoke to top administrative level personal at Sears, he referred us to several different locations for item purchase; (only to learn that once we traveled out of our way to these various locations that these parts were unavailable, and discontinued.) yet, Sears knowingly sold this tool chest with missing parts, and did not even honor their warranty to provide us with these parts, but we still decided to find compatable parts and successfully purchased. We began to further assemble, and to our surprise, we discovered the riser assembly was missing along with parts that went with it. Needless to say, we packed it up and returned the unit to Sears, but they flat out refused to accept the tool chest even though, we showed them the receipt, the warranty and even called in advance to comfirm this return, and later, they refused to accept the return, post 30 days. Sadly, they didn't even take into consideration the amount of time we spent awaiting the arrival of the chest, the pick-up, the phone calls, the running around to various locations, locating the missing parts and even, and we even called in advance to comfirm the return. Sears or Craftsman did not CARE! Recently, we tried to locate the riser assembly parts with no luck at all, so now, we're stuck with a discontinued product that Sears and Craftsman knowingly sold and continue to advertise for futher sales without back-up parts or honoring their warranty. We will NEVER purchase anything from SEARS or CRAFTSMAN again! No wonder they are going out of business!

The automotive section is still open but the rest of stores closing but the automotive section is so incompetent they couldn't even ring up a sale on a regular credit card
