On a serious note, I’ve been without a place to stay since the beginning of January. This is the only place I know that will look out and help you as long as you pay. I love the manager. He’s a really good guy down to earth. I love the staff I love the hotel. I recommend is five stars really good place to stay is quiet it’s clean rooms are nice beds are nice I really like this hotel. If I could I will give it 10 stars keep up the good work guys.

Quick and easy access to ALL DETROIT location-wise. Beyond great location the staff is very attentive. The GM is onsite. His name is Armani and he is an extra layer of solid service and getting things right. Definitely an underrated hotel. Very good price.Nearby activities: If your a foodie your surrounded 360 degrees of adventure and variety. If your drinking there are countless choices within 5miles enabling a cheap SAFE LYFT OR UBER adventure.

The front desk people are always friendly, the house keeper shanel was nice but everyone else in the laundry room was very rude especially the lady in the laundry room working. I took my old towels and linen to be replaced today and she gave me dingy dirty sheets and towels. Once I noticed I immediately gave them back and she gave me another dingy dirty set and told me it's clean she washed it herself. I then said well it's still dirty can I have a set that is not dingy or dirty she then got loud with me telling me just come back later in a very rude way and started yelling in another language. They really need to replace her with someone who has better customer service because I paid to be here and that included clean towels and linen so what was all the rudeness for??

Really disappointed. Was charged for a night I wasn't there. I had checked out and was hit with a night stay. Tried to call the front desk numerous times but was either rushed off of the phone or hung up on. Contacted red roof inn support and of course, no one was willing to help. Pretty much was painted as a liar. I really love this hotel chain so having that happen really broke my heart.

Okay to start it off this place was terrible never going again! So when we got there it was bad off start it was a lot of creeps around not to mention it’s me , my 2 older sisters my brother (older) and my younger sister and my mom and my auntie and my niece’s and nephew ages boy age 2 girl age 3 and another girl (a baby still) 9 months so i expect a lot better from this place but no . First off when we got there it didn’t look like they even cleaned the room before we got into it . Also when we got into there it was no shower head??!?? And also it was a roach on the ceiling and also the light in the bathroom didn’t have a covering? And When we start walking around there are roaches running back and forth across the floor which is disgusting and there a little baby kids here . I was already ready to leave . Then the beds we’re really little and the door locked weirdly like the latch on the door would get stuck when u put it on the hook thingy? Also the last time we came to this red roof inn (they gave another person the same room key we was already in) like this place is sketchy and also they air conditioning when you turned it on it smells like pee? And then they’re was a lot of people outside arguing selling drugs and they had wild dogs out there in they rooms like this is just terrible and uncomfortable to stay at all the other reviews say it was good but mine was terrible and i don’t recommend anyone staying here . They need to seriously fix this place up.Rooms: Terrible

Absolutely great service here, staff is not only friendly and respectful but very understanding if your late on paying for another night at check out time. Nothing but a great time while staying here and definitely would recommend to others. Also rooms are very clean. Absolutely love! This hotel, can’t beat the prices. The only affordable hotel with no bugs ever found!. Staff is very nice and friendly, very helpful. Armoni the manager is a great help! And also it’s a women who works here in the day time.. she’s amazing!

I held off on leaving a review on this place because I was hoping the staff would keep their word on providing me a refund. Over one month, 3 phone calls and 1 email and I haven’t seen it. I booked this place having not been to the area before. Front receptionist was kind. Received room key, parked in front of the motel room and immediately witnessed a drug deal in the space next to us. The room was clean but smelled of marijuana. We didn’t feel safe so we kindly made our way to the front, explained our story and was promised a refund. Really disappointed it never came to fruition. Beware of your surroundings when staying here.Safety: Unsafe

Essie, the woman at the front counter, was very helpful in retrieving my room key when I was having trouble identifying myself by providing friendly, alternate means for contacting the individual I was sharing the room with. Positive experience! Good restaurant selection, but an affluent neighborhood.

I booked the only choice I had which was this location. This weekend to get away from a busy work week all of the luxury hotel were booked for this weekend as well as this hotel. I was accommodated by booking through Priceline when I arrive to the hotel to check in with my reservation the young man was very helpful and accommodating because I had to switch my initial room that was unacceptable the first room had an awful smell, it smelled like cigarettes and they used too much cleaner to cover it up the second room had broken fixtures as well as a AC and no clean linen. finally I was just tired of going back and forth I had to settled with a superior King that was not Superior!!! I ended up cleaning my own room I would not recommend this hotel location and I would not be staying here in the future. If it wasn't for the non refundable deposit online I would have left. They really do need to update their mattresses their appliances and their linen when customers are coming in for long stays and paying top dollar for rooms well over $90 to not have comfort. The guys at the front desk are super nice and helpful, checkin and checkout was easy. When we first got into our room the bathroom was obviously not clean because there was a waterbottle just sitting on the handicap bars next to the toilet. The floors felt dirty to walk on, and the bed was so loud if you moved on it. The fridge was nice and cold, and it had cable tv. It was a generic hotel and a place to sleep. NO bedbugs ?Location is great since it is on the rochester + Stephenson hwy juction. Those roads will take you north or south the fastest, great location for business.

I stayed at the Troy Red Roof Inn for a night after driving from Chicago. The check in was a breeze with id. I was assigned room 138. Being on the first floor, I thought it would be noisy with people walking to and from their rooms. But none of that. The night was quiet, the room was clean, plenty of clean towels, the bed was nice and soft. And the young receptionists were cordial, friendly, attentive and professional. It was a pleasure doing business with you guys.
