I was in need of a couple small hardware items that did not seem to be available locally, and for which shipping costs made it prohibitive ($3 for the items plus $15-$20 S&H!). RBrooke was no different - when I emailed they said sorry, their sales & shipping process makes cheaper impossible for internet sales. BUT then the guy on the other end said, "But I just could send you the parts for free." Arrived a few days later, at no cost to me. I can't say much for their process, but the people and customer service philosophy are excellent!

Have not received the order yet but have reservations now of merchandise matching description on website. Read reviews after the fact. This review is for the zero communication and zero reply to questions. Quick to punch my card and confirm order. Invoice states special order. Website indicates in stock item 1-2 days processing. Raises suspicion of scam. End result yet to be seen. Will do follow up review and adjust accordingly.

This is a first class company - their customer service is AMAZING ! I will be ordering all my window hardware from Robert Brooke & Associates from now on.

Stay away! I ordered on-line and received a product that did not match the description provided. It did not fit. I called and was cheerfully told to return the product and they would send me "the next size up." I paid the cost to return the item. I am now flabbergasted that Robert Brooke refunded the item price but absolutely refuses to refund the shipping they charged me (which was twice what the post office charged for me to return it). The error was theirs, take responsibility! To add insult to injury, the customer service rep made suggestions about what I could have tried to do to make their product work. It's a little late now. Wish you had told me that when I called describing the problem in the first place. Warn all your friends to stay away from Robert Brooke! This is not a good company to work with.

So excited to have found a local company that will find parts that will work for my vintage furniture projects! Robert Brooke & Associates has always provided me BIG-time customer service even though I have small orders.
