Our BIG Golden Retriever (JV) usually gets stressed out going to the groomer making it a challenge for everyone involved. After some not-so-great grooming experiences elsewhere in the past, I was a little nervous. But Nina completely changed the game. JV even seemed happy and relaxed when I picked him up, which speaks volumes about Nina's calm and caring demeanor.We will definitely be back! 3705 Rochester Rd, TroyEverything from our initial call through our first appt. was great. The front office staff reached out to let me know when they received the records from my former vet, and were always very professional and friendly. We were welcomed and shown into a room immediately, and our vet tech was wonderful. Our cat is a big old scaredy cat, so we really appreciated how kind and gentle both the vet tech and Dr. Tate were, and that they were even nice enough to wrap our cat in a blanket they misted in calming pheromones. One reason we left our last vet was because they kept trying to sell us on every test and unnecessary thing our cat didn't actually need. So, I was really grateful Dr. Tate did a great exam, told us possible tests (i.e. blood work options) and then let us make our decision without judgement. We're so grateful we found Dr. Tate!

I was able to place an appointment online and be seen by the veterinarian within 48 hours. The vet and staff were knowledgeable, kind, and supportive. Because life is what it is our FurBaby did not respond well to any medication for her asthma. We decided it was time to release her from this worldly body. The office staff had set up a quiet room with tissues and other comforts to ease the pain of her passing. I am very grateful that we found this place. Days like today are difficult. To surrender is difficult. The compassionate and kind professionals in this office ensured our pets’ safe passage from this world while easing my and my families pain. Thank you for that. Goodbye Mabel we love you fur ever :’(

I can't recommend From The Heart Dog Training enough, really.My sweet Rita was already a good girl but I really needed to elevate her to being darn near perfect after a recent auto accident has left me disabled. I could no longer handle pulling on walks or her lunging at any distractions.During the two week training camp, the report cards I received were so detailed and let me know that Victoria and Mel were really getting to know/working on Rita and all of her quirks. The app is also awesome to have to refer to for future homework, since the training never really ends.Rita is home now and I have to say she's a different dog. So much more calm in and out of the house AND she no longer follows me to every room. I know it will be hard going forward since I don't get to snuggle with her on every piece of furniture but I can already see the change by following through with what I was suggested. In time, I fully believe Rita will be able to achieve whatever I'd like her to.All in all, incredible experience. So worth it if you'd like to see a change in your dog. Just know that you'll have to change your ways too.Thank you for all of your hard work Victoria and Mel!
