Craig is great (and so is Dawn)! There's been a tremendous shift in my son's mental and physical fitness. He was already into sports anyway, but now he has a more holistic attitude about it and Craig has been a great influence on him. I've recently started working with Dawn and her enthusiasm for life and body positivity and fitness at every age is infectious! Love these two!

I joined burn fitness in June and it’s the best decision I have ever made. Great atmosphere and very clean gym. The staff are also super friendly! Josh is the man!

Michigan Kettlebells is absolutely fantastic! If you are looking through these reviews to determine whether you want to give MKB a shot, you should totally do it! I was apprehensive about joining a gym since I was not a “gym” kind of guy. But here I am 6 months later absolutely loving it! The coaches are fantastic, the workouts are challenging yet adaptable and there is an amazingly encouraging atmosphere. I literally feel like I'm missing out when I can't go. And to top it off, I'm in the best shape of my life because of MKB!

I 100% recommend Michigan Kettlebells!Craig has created a gym atmosphere for everyone! I tried the big box gyms, the $10 a month gyms and working out at home. None of them stuck with me. The vibe at MKB and the members are truly something special! I have been a member since November of 2017 and haven't looked back! The class sizes are perfect and it feels like a personal training session every time. No class is the same, so you are always challenged to try new things and push yourself. No matter what the workout is, you are encouraged to move at your own pace with no feeling of competition or criticism. Craig, Sean, Gary Derek and Dawn are great people and their coaching styles are all completely different. Whether you're a pro or a novice, I highly recommend MKB to push you to be better and be stronger. #MKBSTRONG

MI KB is more than just a gym, you end up being part of a community. Everyone from the instructors to your fellow gym mates are great, look out for each other and motivate each other. Gym takes all fitness levels and all ages. Each step of the way can be catered to your fitness level and also if you have any physical impairments...and we have them all!!

Michigan Kettlebells is absolutely phenomenal! I had never done fitness like this prior to joining. I am now obsessed with kettlebell and weight training. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and makes everyone feel welcome while working with them at their level. Such an inspiring community with enthusiasm, support and team emphasis. No matter what your level of fitness experience is, this environment will nurture and meet you where you are at. You will gain strength and skills beyond anything that you could have ever imagined!

I have been a member for about five years now. Craig and his staff are amazing. He takes his time to make sure you are comfortable with new concepts. The other members make it worthwhile too.

We've been going to MKB for almost 10 years and it has helped us with functional fitness, strength and endurance. The coaches are innovative and the workouts are always user friendly (go at your own speed and capability)

First, seriously consider adding kettlebells to your workout routine. They are a 100+ year old Russian technique for strength training. I've added significant muscle, agility, core-strength and mobility since taking this up (at age 52).Next, don't hesitate to visit Michigan Kettlebells! I joined this gym nine (9) years ago and still enjoy the coaches, fellow athletes and the workouts. Craig and Dawn run this gym without any arrogance (because they have none) and pressure (encouragement yes, pressure, no). Nearly every single exercise/move can be tailored to your current strength and mobility... you can leave any intimation in the trunk of your car!Guy or gal, young or dirt-old (like me), this place is welcoming!

I tried a "Barbell Class" with my neighbor and I had a good experience. The class size was small-only three other people were in the class, which made for a nice environment. The trainer was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He demonstrated all movements in a way that was easy to understand and he was patient with members when they had questions. All the members were warm and welcoming. The structure of the class was clever. We did some interval warm-ups, which had twenty-five seconds of work and twenty seconds of rest. The movements included mountain climbers, bird dogs, plank holds, push-ups, and other movements. Then we did five pull-ups and ten tricep over the head extensions. Then we did some mobility work-things like lunges, cossack squats, hip rotations, and arm rotations. After that, we did bench presses with a pause at the bottom and single-arm dumbbell bent-over rows. Then we did hip thrusters and farmer carry's and we finished the workout with some barbell bicep curls, some high band side steps and some sled pushes. My muscles were definitely feeling the burn at an increasing rate as the class went on. If I had to nitpick then I would say that there wasn't enough time to complete all of the movements and the gym is small. I imagine the gym would feel crowded if there were more than five people attending a class. When we got to "event #3," which included the barbell bicep curls, high band side steps, and sled pushes, we were given only seven minutes to complete it. Because it's important to stretch at the end of a workout, I respected the time cap on this section. But, I think there should have been a time cap on all three events. That would have prevented us from feeling rushed at the end. Go check this place out! I would like to come back and try one of their kettlebell classes.

A great place for fitness! My intent was to learn the right technique and all instructors are always there to make sure you do the right way and not hurt yourself. The workouts are changing all the time so you never get bored. if there is a workout you can not do, they can replace it with another workout for the same muscle so you are not standing doing nothing while others are busy working out. All instructors including Craig are so easy to work with and approachable and willing to help out. I highly recommend this place. You will never go wrong.

Small place with a tight team. This makes it easy for the coach to monitor each person and give corrective notes if needed. Highly recommended :)

Something like this is what we have all been waiting for. The classes are built for all abilities which ensures all are able to attend and get the most out of it, as well as each class being varied each week so there is no chance in getting bored. The facility itself is always spotlessly clean, well set out and you're never waiting around for the instructor. The Instructors Craig / Derek / Sean / Gary all give great individualized encouragement and instruction when needed.

This is not a gym it is family. From the very first day you are welcomed with opened arms. I am a novice at working out but that does not matter here. The encouragement from the coaches and members is outstanding. The coaches only ask that you give your all in each class. All members encourage you to finish and push you to give you best. Like a said at the beginning you do not realize this is a gym because everyone makes you feel like family.
