Thanh (sorry if I misspelled) does such a great job he is the ONLY person I have had cut my hair for the past 10+ years… and I don’t even live in Michigan! Sometimes it is a full year before I get back to get a cut and how he styles it accommodates for a graceful grow out period. I would rather deal with longer hair for a while than get anyone else to cut it in between. He pays attention to facial structure and hair thickness/ volume/ texture before cutting and will tell you of what you request will not match these factors.

My wife took a hair wash, hydrate, hair cut, and styling today in Mai Tai. The experience was amazing! The place is super clean, and the staffs are very friendly. They tried their best to hear everything we ask and provided very detailed advice for my wife for how to protect her dry hair. Thank you and we would definitely visit Mai Tai again!Service: Haircut

They put a lot of thought and effort into making sure your hair style fits just right. The specialized knowledge in Asian hair allowed me to give Thanh the freedom to do whatever he thought was best for my hair and facial structure. I basically said I trust him to be the professional, and by the end of the appointment, I could see my trust was absolutely well placed. That's my hair grow back, the haircut accommodated it and people are still asking me where I got my haircut even though it's all grown out. That's a sign of true talent and foresight to give me such a great cut that a year later I still got compliments.
