If I could give zero stars I would!! Just left Somerset's Macy & I won't be back. Entire women's section was a mess! Clothes were thrown around the tables, floors and displays like a tornado just hit. After finding 2 items I waited in line for a dressing room for at least 15 minutes. Left the clothes on a rack and left the store.

I came today to the Macys located at somerset mall in Michigan around 10:40am. I parked in the structure and had to bring in a few clothing articles from another merchant that I needed to return. I came in and I approached the register to ask the woman if I could have a bag so it didn't look suspicious walking around macys or the mall with clothing articles. The moment I approached the register the woman didn't say hello but instantly said "don't come up to me, I'm not working ay the register someone else can help you" in a very rude and unfriendly manor. So I simply asked if it was ok to have a bag to put the clothing in and she raised her voice and told me "No, this isn't my time on the register and we don't hand out bags!" I was taken back and told her I could purchase something at the register to get a bag and she literally yelled at me and said "no, we don't hand out bags and I'm not helping you, I'm not at the register"I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism from this woman. I was not able to grab her name but she was an older black woman with short hair. I will NEVER return to this location. On top of the ride experience while first entering, no one said hello and the store looked incredibly filthy and dirty. Unorganized and unstoppable. This store needs to be overseen, Macys can do better.

I usually do not have the best experiences at Macy's, but I went into the Somerset store in need of a last minute backup dress because I thought the dress I ordered for an event wouldn't make it in time. I was wowed by the assistance provided by Latrice in the dress department. I will definitely return because of her!

My main issues with Macy's in general is their credit interest rate scam. Many times, I have paid my bill online (on time) only to get a statement for $1 or $2 because of late charges. Once, I paid a small late charge like that, only to receive another $1 or so charge because the original $1 was late. Go figure. It's like there's a hidden 'due date' that you don't know is there. It's not a great big deal, but is very irritating. I think their online credit system needs to be revamped.

This review is specifically about Nina at Clinique. Nina has been overly kind and helpful when my wife and I go there every six months or so to restock on makeup and skincare products. Nina has always taken time with us, not only to talk about products, but just to spend time talking... like human beings. She is personal, helpful, kind, funny... and it is refreshing to receive this kind of humanity anywhere nowadays. Nina has given my wife some samples that have helped her decide what to by on her next trip to Clinique. If we could give 10 stars to Nina, we would. If everyone were like Nina, this world would be a very peaceful, radiant place.
