I would often called to find out if I could bring my dogs in. Instead to look at the calendar and ask for dates they ask for a name. Each time I would call then it would be no available no room to be reserved. So I started to wonder if my boys were blacklisted. As soon as I questioned it they flipped it and said I was rude? Instead of explaining why they ask for my name first. Manager called and said I was not welcome because I was rude. If anything the manager was rude for not explaining!. In my experience people ask for the dates, the name not the other way around. They were not watching my dogs for free and I’m very kind and loving person who would even bring donuts to the staff. So poor management skills!!!!!!! This is not how you run the business if there’s an issue your address it to correct it if there was an issue obviously you can question why they ask your name first, because who would know why they do it that way, but take offense to always be told no time available! Anyone would think this way.. if anyone was rude, was the manager!!! Besides it’s not the nicest place it does need lot and lot of updating but it was closer to my home. But thx but no thx for your service!

I can’t say enough about the Longview Kennels…. The staff and owners are the best … Panda is always excited for her time with her doggie friends and I know she is getting good care from the staff! Friendly, caring, terrific staff … clean facility!❤️

The kennels I could see looked decrepit, very run down and poorly maintained.Website says daycare but was told "We're not set up for daycare."Had an off leash dog running around who she said "is not good with other dogs."Extremely rude and confrontational. It was very concerning to see someone like that in charge of the care of animals.

This is pathetic place now. Used to be good before. I boarded my pet dog for 10 days recently. Upon reaching home after picking up my pet. discovered he had a severe case(wound) of Happy Tail. The skin at the tip of tail was totally exposed and and raw pink. The wound is 2 inches long and I am still working with my Vet to avoid amputation. There was no mention of anything while picking up the pet and upon calling up the next day, was told that none of the Staff had reported anything. This response just goes to show that you're leaving your pet in the hands of folks, who don't even notice when a pet is injured. He was also bathed while there and even then nobody took notice of this injury to the tail.

We've been bringing our puppy here for the past 1 year and have had a great experience. The staff is awesome. The hours are longer than other daycares, which really helps because we work long hours. Our dog is excited to be dropped off every morning and they are always sure to bunk her with one of her buddies. Most importantly, our dog comes home tired everyday.

We have been customers of Longview for many years. Our 14-year old lab spent many winters at Longview while we were in FL. We found the owners to be fantastic people and their staff are the BEST! They treated our Sunshine like she was their dog. If you want the #1 place to take your pet and have it pampered - Longview is the place for you! Many, many thanks to Amanda, Mike, Angela, and all the lovely folks who took care of Sunshine over the years.
