They make the experience feel very personal, in a good way. Quite impressive to see what they can produce from a giant pile of wood. You can tell care was taken to produce a superior product. The new black walnut table is just what we needed to brighten the area. Now we just need to redo the rest of the room to look as good ?. Thanks John, and Jenny. Another outstanding Job!

We needed a non-standard sized console table and loved the idea of having a piece of furniture that was unique, natural, and reflected our Michigan pride. Live Edge Detroit was such a great experience from start to finish. We got to pick out the perfect board and chose to have Live Edge finish it for us. The table is stunning and unlike anyone else’s. Not only that, we know the story of where our wood came from! I highly recommend this business!

My wife and I just bought a new house where the previous owner had painted the mantle and surrounding ceramic tile all white. We went to Live Edge Detroit to find a new mantle and I'm so glad we did! Not only did they do a phenomenal job but John is very knowledgeable and his team provides a level of customer service that is unheard of anymore. We are remodeling everything with a rustic/log cabin feel and will definitely be back for other projects.

I walked into Live Edge Detroit on a whim and left with a beautiful slab of red oak sourced from my immediate neighborhood. I'm a novice woodworker and John was so encouraging and invited me to call if I had any questions with my project. I left with not only a gorgeous piece of live edge oak, but, more importantly, the confidence to get the job done right. I'm grateful for their expertise!

Can’t say enough good things about our experience with Live Edge Detroit…it was FANTASTIC from start to finish. We wanted a large hearth as a focal point for our living room remodel and, after reviewing options and investigating several suppliers, it was an easy choice to go with the team at Live Edge who delivered an absolutely beautiful walnut hearth. John was sooo helpful. He alway took the time to explain options for us to consider, explained the process of making the hearth, and kept in communication throughout the build of the hearth. And the quality of work their team did in finishing the walnut slab was excellent…so happy with it! We simply had a great experience and will go to Live Edge Detroit for our next project.

Absolutely fantastic people! Love that it’s a local small business. Came in looking for a slab to do floating shelf’s in our living room remodel, and they did not disappoint! John and his team did absolutely fantastic work. Would recommend them 1000%. Already in talks about another project with them.

We wanted a statement piece for our home to use for our address sign ...This place did not disappoint, after looking around all the beautiful selection we found a slab perfect for our project . I believe it was honey locust wood ....The owners were so very helpful and even cut the slab to our size specifications.

We were finishing our basement and looking for a live edge bar top. We worked closely with John and he and his team took time to really help educate us on our options. We selected a walnut piece and as the pics show, it turned out fabulous! We’ve received so many compliments already and I would highly recommend Liveedgedetroit.
