They don’t speak to you when you walk in, ask if they can help, nothing they just stand there, stare at you and have conversations with each other. Ai would do a better job. You would think they’d kill you with customer service knowing malls are on the decline and so is their $12 a hour jobs.

Very very rude and disrespectful staff and manager. They do not treat you with any respect or want to give you any help at all!!!! WTH I have never ever seen this disrespectful behavior anywhere.!!

I would rate this place 0 star if I have the option.. wasting time and money with very unprofessional staff.Honestly worst place ever .Time opining shows 10am in google and they said 11am had to wait in a big line for exchange they let me in after 45 minutes waiting then they asked me to leave and comeback after 11 very rude staff.

Went to visit Oakland Mall on a Wednesday & was greeted with a scowl by the employee. She didn’t say one word to us as we browsed the store and when we finally did ask for a size she seemed irritated. She proceeded to scan her items then slammed the scanner when she had to to get the shoe herself. She made it to the point where you didn’t want to ask her for anything else. If I could give zero stars I would but one pair of shoes were bought so 1 star it is. Don’t recommend this store, find another location!! Bad energy overall.

Worst customer service ever Never will come back to this beautiful store because of the manager with short hair style she’s so rude to people this kind of people should take a classes for respect and how to talk with customer and do not use ( Street language )

Store is racist to its main audience. I wanted to buy my son some shoes, and had him try on a size 1 and size 2. I asked the employee for one of each for him to try, and the worker told me it's against policy to let a customer try on 2 shoes at one time. I told him I have never heard of a policy that only allows a person, a 6 year old child at that, not allow them to try on two shoes at once. So I gladly took my buisness to Foot Locker 2 doors down, where they had no such a policy, and the same shoes. My son tried on both shoes at Foot locker and picked the one that felt best, and I also saved $10 on the same shoe with my military discount. So thank you Jimmy Jazz for your racist, stereotypical policy for your black customers that your store clearly is advertised for.

Once a decent mall, no longer. I know times are tough on malls. Lots of empty stores, areas looked dirty. Was gonna have lunch, but food service personnel were scratching their nose and serving food without cleaning. And why does everyone smell like pot - even through a mask. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.

It is hard to see how few people are at the Oakland Mall on a Saturday night. Back in the day it would be bustling with people eating and hanging out on the weekend. There still seems to be quite a few stores here that interest the family, especially the kids, like Hot Topic, Forever 21, Spencer's, H&M, Macy's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sbarros...but it seems very empty of both people and stores. I am also not sure about how this place is labeled on yelp, it looks like someone tampered with the name of the mall. The other thing about this place is it is organized very strangely, like parts have a second floor and parts have a lower level, very confusing. There are so many great restaurants and shopping opportunities around this mall to help support customers, maybe it could have a revival? We came here because we went to some stores close by and also wanted to see if we could find a particular, which we were unable to find. Perhaps they could not survive. I am not saying I would not return, but since there is another mall in Troy, I am more likely to go there and just go to other strip malls and restaurants over here.

It is unfortunate that the store has good shoes, but the staff is not friendly and lack education. The customer service is superb in making customers feel uncomfortable. They don't smile, they talk too fast, and since they handle items so roughly, my boxes get crushed. I wanna say I don't want to go there anymore, but unfortunately, they sometimes have very rare good shoes.

The young lady with red short hair working the counter needs to take a class in customer service skills. She was talking very robotic and rude from the jump. As soon as we asked for a size she said No right away like she didn’t want to be bothered. She talks very condescending like you can’t comprehend her or something. Rude ! Rude! Rude!

Horrible customer service. Rude employees. Cannot empathize on how horrible & rude employees are to customers. Store is always closed. It should just be closed at this location completely.
