Sylvana is the best of the best. I drive almost an hour to see her but it is WORTH IT! Casual, beautiful, yet non-judgemental atmosphere. If you want to look stunning go here!

I am so disappointed. I got my hair highlighted, and it was overpriced. I did not like the color. The worst part was, I paid $85 and she didn't even blow dry my hair. I had to go in the 20 degree weather with wet hair, and straight to my house to blow dry my hair out. I walked into the salon with straightened hair, my expectation would be to walk out looking better than when I walked in. This was a terrible experience that left me upset for the whole day.

WAXING ONLY REVIEW. I've been waxed before but it's expensive. I saw the Groupon and I thought it would be an opportunity to try a new place. I'm very sorry I did. The wax is sub-par and she left it on too long. She would paint a large area before she went back to do the pulling. By then the wax was glued to my skin and the strips kept slipping out of her hands. Like ripping out my bikini hair a few at a time. It was so violent and painful I was in tears. This is NOT how it was supposed to be. I was afraid she was taking my skin off. This fear was heightened when I told her to stop and stood up to see I was bleeding profusely from my private parts. She said it must have been an ingrown hair, but when I got home and washed I saw she pulled a couple of moles off with the wax. It felt like she was taking off my skin. As I said, I've been waxed before at Georgi's Royal Oak and it was a bit uncomfortable in the sensitive areas. But I had no lasting pain or redness and certainly no bleeding! At Indulge, not only was it a terrible experience, but most of the hair broke off and several spots were missed entirely. So I still had to shave on my vacation. It turns out that the esthetician isn't even affiliated with the salon. She merely rents a room from them. I learned this after my torturous waxing session. Do yourself a favor and find a GOOD waxing place.

Terrible service. I went in for a haircut. But i was a little hesitant so i wanted some advice or consultation from the hairdresser. She was not helpful, did not give me any advice, and wasn't willing to listen before diving into cutting my hair. I couldn't trust her but since i needed a haircut, i went ahead. They also don't take tips on credit card, so I had to goto my bank's atm to get cash. Just keep in mind.

I happened to go there as i had bought a groupon. But it was a big mistake! I would give a negative star rating if possible. Their groupon deal was a sham, they are cheating their groupon customers. The deal said that there was a 50% discount but when i reached there, their rate card had the same rates! so there was no discount. They had inflated their prices just for the heck of saying that here was a discount. Apart from the cheating, I didnt even get a satisfactory haircut :( It was a basic one length cut but even that has not come out well. I will need to go to another salon to get my hair fixed. Please dont waste your money by going to this place. Complete disappointment!

I travel a lot and stop by a different salon all the time...haven't found one I'd repeat outside of Echo Salon in Grand Rapids. That is, until, I met the girls at Indulge. They got me in right away. Were very courteous and researched my hair history before jumping in. The conditioning treatment, color and cut were wonderful. The sweet ladies were all very charming and kind as well. Definitely my go-to in the Detroit area now. I also witnessed them taking care of some young toddlers hair and they were equisite with them. Super fast and they had the cutest little modern cuts when they were done. Great job ladies!

I found and visited Indulge because of an online discount coupon I got. I had been wanting to pamper myself and get my hair done someplace nice. The coupon was for a wash, deep conditioner, cut and style. I was surprised when I pulled up that this salon normally does haircuts for, I think $17, as advertised right on their sign, which made me question if I had really chosen a "nice" salon. However, once I got inside I was really pleased with the place. The staff (even on the phone when I booked the appt.) was completely professional and welcoming. The woman who did my hair was attentive to my preferences and made sure she fully understood what I wanted before cutting my hair. She took a personal interest in making sure I was happy. I also appreciated that she did not force any of her own opinions of style on me, although when I asked she was happy to make suggestions. In the end, I loved the haircut and style, and the conditioning treatment was beneficial. She did speak enthusiastically about the styling product she was using (and selling) when I asked what to use with a flat iron, but I didn't mind because I had asked, and when I inquired if there were less expensive alternatives, she was fine with suggesting a cheaper option. There was no pressure to book future appointments or get additional services that I was not interested in, and since my hair is very long (and I don't tend to style it that often) I probably won't be to any salon again for a while. However when I am ready for another haircut I plan to go back to Indulge. It was really a positive and fun experience!

Very consistent with the work-- regardless of who you get!! Kind and easy to work with the stylists, who are more than willing to make you happy.
