I am vexed with the tax advisor here. She is 1000 % confused all the time, doesn't listen. I have to repeat at least 3 times what i have to say. Last year i went there for my 2020 returns along with my wife who didn't have ITIN. At that time we didn't have updated visa information and we were in the process of applying it. She was still in US. She asked us to still apply for ITIN and wait for IRS to reply back if there is any issue ( we listened to her suggestion) .Few months IRS sent me a letter saying we need updated visa information. As we didn't have at that time i had to change my return and file single . In 2021 my wife got SSN and i reached out to her on Jan 15 first time to amend my 2020 return married joint. After multiple calls (3 calls), messages,(6 emails) and repeating myself about my situation 3 times( when i ever i call her), finally i got some numbers for 2020 amended return. Those are completely off when compared to 2020 return numbers when i initially filed with my wife with ITIN. I was ready to share the images of the prepared return from last year through email( shared summary too), asked if i could share my screen anyway, tried lot of ways convincing numbers are off and i just want to know the reason. LITERALLY I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE REASON because i have the copies with me. She always says what she wants to say and says this is based on my information she has and that information is same last year or this year, my w2 isn't going to change.More troubling part is i had to repeat myself again on what happened last year and what i want this year ( after explaining 3 times in call and in emails) . I am completely vexed after dealing with her last year. I told her i will go with other professional. I AM NOT MENTIONING NAME HERE NOT TO RUIN ANY ONES REPUTATION IN PUBLIC, but i guess LEADERSHIP SHOULD SPEAK TO HER TO DO THINGS SMOOTHLY AND TO ACTUALLY LISTEN TO CUSTOMER FIRST. I was not satisfied last year( but didn't have a choice because ITIN is only prepared by few professionals) and this year too i went with her because she had my information. I AM NOT SATISFIED NOW TOO. Now i am moving on to different tax professional because I AM VERY UN HAPPY WITH MY EXPERIENCE.Funny thing is, shed asked me to file last year with ITN even though she does know i don't have updated information and i am in the process of getting it , now she says for amending last year return i need to pay money( i bought peace of mind last year) because it is my mistake. I didn't know i should voice record her at that point to prove she was the one who advised me. I just don't want to argue with her any more, not worth my time.

We have had the same tax man for 30 years! Today I went to a new office I hadn't been to before. (Chesterfield MI H & R Block office.) The ladies name is Victoria and she is WONDERFUL!!! Kind, professional and patient. I asked many questions and she answered every single one thoroughly. This is the only place I will go in the future. If you need a tax specialist, you need to visit Victoria! A++++++

Paid almost $400 to get an estimate that varied between $1 - $2700. When my refund came back it was shorted almost $900 when I asked what happened the agent had no answer for me other than "call the 1-800 number and they'll tell you." So I called the 800 number and they said they would make sure that the H&R Block I went to would get in contact with me to resolve the issue. Why does a customer have to call an 800 number to get the customer service that they should have got on the first time they walked in the door? Yet another number to call.... the circle continues.
