I had excellent customer service when I was recently shopping at Herald Wholesale! Jim Damman was our consultant and he was knowledgeable, helpful and his insight allowed me to get clarity on which kitchen faucet brands would make the most sense for me based on my tastes and finishing choice. A wonderful shopping experience!!!

Please, hold on a minute! What’s with the negative reviews? My wife and I relied on Harold Wholesale for “ALL” of our hardware and fixtures in a full ground floor update… it’s been a few years (and I’m just looking in)… nothing but a ***** performance! Gosh, the lackluster reviews are just sour grapes. Proving the ONLY WAY TO FAIL is to try to please EVERYONE! I’ll challenge ANYONE to find a better group to supply remodeling needs!

Staff is rude. No one acknowledged we arrived. When we approached the front desk, a very, visually grumpy woman told us she would be right with us.As we are not sink experts, we had questions. This woman was difficult, as if to be a jerk, didn’t answer questions with straight answers, instead in riddles, and then was absolutely unhelpful. I will not be returning. This woman was rude and refused to answer questions clearly, vaguely outlined issues we may experience but when we clarified she made up something else. We were later told she was having a bad day by a coworker. Head on home if you can’t act like a human being

Was sent here by my designer being I'm building a large home. After walking around the showroom for 25 minutes without anyone bothering to help me, their excuse was "they were busy" . Really, too busy to say "we'll be with you soon". I'm on my way to Advance Plumbing.

My goodness, how they have changed. Herald's used to be our go-to shop (when we lived in MI years ago, when they were near 8 Mile), but now they can't barely speak to you when you enter, they seem reluctant to help, and they don't have any ideas on where to find what you do want when their displays don't have what you need. We will not shop here again. /// 3-6-23 I posted this originally 3 months ago, and Herald Wholesale responded today, asking me to clarify my statement of "their displays don't have what you need." Here it is - I explained to your disinterested staff at the counter that I needed a handle with a deeper projection than what your displays showed. When I say "projection", I'm talking about distance from the cabinet to the outermost part of the handle, so it's how much space you have to grab the handle. Anyway, we HAD a handle with us with which we were trying to coordinate more handles, and they said they had no idea what handles might have more projection. And that was that. We needed to buy 32 more handles or knobs (we just wanted to coordinate with the new island's handles, so we were open to suggestions), and no one cared to help us find out if any of the ones you had on display came in a deeper projection. I'm sure your displays carry as many styles/samples as possible, but we had hoped that by bringing what we had so we could buy complimentary handles, your staff would have the knowledge to figure out which of your manufacturers might have what we needed. They just didn't seem to care to help us. And frankly, your response seems passive-aggressive, even though you started it with "I apologize". Any time you put three question marks in, you are not being polite and sincere in your apology. And now that I see how my experience of being ignored in an EMPTY store, devoid of other customers, was not unusual - I just read several reviews - I truly will never shop here again.

Wonderful selection of everything... However, they're either severely understaffed or don't care. Went in 3 times... (had questions)totally ignored... 2nd time, I went in with my wife, and I asked about some items... lady went to check....waited...and waited...and waited over 20 minutes... by then, my wife realized that it was a complete waste of time. We went to the front desk area... the lady had either totally forgotten about us or decided that it was best to help someone else. We are in the process of building a house. Will never waste my time there again... go elsewhere... If you want to see items up close, go to this place, but order online (it will take just as long to get the item cheaper)... otherwise, you will end up frustrated and ignored. It wasn't a fluke.... same thing happened the 3rd visit. Learn from my mistakes. I wish them the best of luck. But I will never go back again.

Kim is so helpful and fun to work with. Kim helped us when we worked on our Basement Reno and our kitchen facelift! Now Kim is helping us with our Master bath Reno. They have a great showroom and helpful staff too.

Ever wanted the superpower to become invisible? Just simply walk through the doors of Herald's Wholesale and it will happen for you. 10 workers sitting behind the counter. We were the only customers in the entire store. We walked the whole store including directly in front of and beside the counter... not one acknowledgement from staff. Honestly even if I found something I loved, I would not purchase simply on the principle of basic customer service.

We have visited this showroom many times as we are building a house and they do have a great selection of many items we needed. Each time we are there, we are never acknowledged by any employee and we normally spend at least an hour looking at everything. No one seems to want to wait on you even when you are waiting at the desk. This last time we picked out what we wanted quoted and waited at the desk. Charles finally spoke to us and said he would find someone to help us but then decided he would help us, but said he was helping a few others. We were given catalogs to look up our own stuff, mark the pages and detail what we want quotes on along with our information so he could email us the quote. We did all the leg work, he was with other people so we didn't feel we were able to ask questions. We left the catalogs marked and our information at the desk for him to contact us with the quote, but we have yet to hear anything. We have purchased from here before and wanted quotes on more product, but guess we will find what we want elsewhere as coming back into the store when it is over an hour drive to get no service is not going to happen again.

Never shop this place. This place has horrible customer service. Super disappointing experience. The owner's daughter is very rude. I purchased a TOTO toilet on Saturday morning and arranged a contractor to install it on Sunday. When the box was opened, damage was found. Because the store is closed on Sunday and exchange is not available. Rescheduling installation will cost me another $150 more. So I had contractor install it and reported the damage (also sent photos showing the damage) to the salesperson on Monday requesting a partial refund or store credit. After the salesperson talked to her management,I was informed neither partial refund nor store credit is possible, they said they can ship a new one to my house and take the old one back, but they are not responsible to re-install. That means I have to pay another $200 to install it.Also their price is more than $300 more than Home Depot for the same model Model# MS604124CEFG#01 I purchased.Home Depot price is $647.10 and their Their price is over $900.

Overall a great experience selecting and ordering my foyer light. Showroom is packed full of displays. Would have given 5 stars but a newspaper ad for 40% off got me into the store and when I chose my light I was told coupon wasn't applicable to my order. Learned my lesson. ;( the fine print*****

I bought new sinks and faucets from herald. It was a nice store with a lot of high end options. Although it was pricey, I was satisfied with what I ordered and they were prompt with notifying us when our items had arrived. They have tons of options and the staff were kind.
