The location was perfect unfortunately that was probably the only good thing about my stay. I always wipe down my room upon checkin because I know things happen, but my Lysol towelettes were very dark in color and dirty after wiping down my room. The room also had a very old/ musty smell. I requested ahead of time for extra towels and washcloths to be in my room as well as linens for the pullout couch… none were there. When i requested for extra washcloths they told me they were “out of washcloths” (because I guess 2 washcloths for 2 people is enough when they’re staying 6 days). A front desk employee told me to leave old linens outside of my room door however early one morning someone from house keeping knocked in my door (waking up my toddler) to tell me O had to walk my dirty linens to the laundry room myself. Absolutely not. That is not what we were paying over $100 a night for. Overall, I do not recommend this location and will not be back.

I have stayed at this hotel on previous occasions without incident, however, this stay over Easter Weekend has been very enlightening. Upon checking in the woman at the front desk greeted me with, “Do you need something?” When I told her I was checking in she seemed to be incredibly irritated and said only a few words throughout the process, she preferred just shoving a piece of paper with highlighted areas and left me to figure it out. She then informed me there was a $5.00 parking fee per night. I explained this had never been mentioned before in any of my stays and that I spoke with the gentleman at the front desk the night before and there was no mention of a parking fee. When I booked the room there was no mention of a parking fee. She rolled her eyes at me and said, “Then that was just a courtesy.” I told her not to charge my card for parking as I would be parking elsewhere. Again with the eye rolling she asked, “Are you alright?” After I paid for my room she tossed the room keys on the counter and turned to walk away. I asked her where the room was located to which she pointed saying, “It’s over there.” I asked for a receipt after I paid and she refused to give it to me. Thankfully at this point I had my phone recording. I don’t think this woman understands the difference between hospitality and hostility. Don’t stay here, just don’t do it. Had it not been Easter Weekend I would have just gone to another hotel.Noteworthy details: The front desk woman was trying to supplement her income by charging a $5.00 per night parking fee. They run scams in this hotel.

Ok, nothing amazing. The drain in the tub wouldn’t close, so my much desired bath was a miss. But clean and spacious.

This is a horrible location to stay at. On my check out date I returned to my room in order to get my things and check out. Check out isn't until 11 am, I arrived at 10:20 am. When I got to my room, my bed and stripped and sheets, comforter, and pillows were removed from the bed with my things still opened in the room. I asked for a manager Cailey L and she told me she knew their housekeeping staff was in the room around 9:50 am or so and that she told them to leave the room. She then told me I didn't have to be so upset because nothing was aken from the room. I had personal belongs; underwear, personal documents such as my ssc, etc in the room which easily could have been taken by a photo. She then offered me a full refund for my stay and stated to call the third party for the refund, which I did. The third party told me to call the police and file a report in order to receive my refund for my stay. I plan on doing so anyway, but had to in order to receive my money. The police gave me a report number and I went on my way. Cailey called the police on me for not leaving the building by 11 am, when I obviously couldn't leave because I was waiting on the police. This was on the February 14th, 2024 and today is February 23rd, 2023 and sonesta suites manager still is telling the third party not to refund me my money although I have the whole conversation and police conversation on record for my documentation. This woman allowed her staff to enter my room prior to checkout time while my things were still in the room and don't care. I wouldn't recommend staying here because they don't care about the people who stay with them and go through their rooms when the guest isn't there.Rooms: They go through the guest rooms when they aren't there.Safety: They don't practice privacy and safety.

Advertised wired internet connection to room, but was told it was wireless only. Elevators smelled like cigarettes, wifi was incredibly slow (had to resort to hotspot to download files for work). The staff I've talked to about this stuff have been very friendly, only reason I'm not giving a 1-star review.

We called the front desk today (10/20) to let them know we’d be arriving at 3:30am after a long drive. Ursula was great and assured us someone would be there to check us in. We arrived at 3:30 and it’s now 4:19 and we have been calling the front desk from their phone (per the request on their sign) and no one has answered. We prepaid for our room and are exhausted and can’t get in. We can hear the cordless phone ringing but can’t get whoever is supposed to be working to answer. Another guest who is very familiar with the hotel indicated that the guy who’s working is often asleep during his shift and that may be why we can’t get in. Very frustrated and will never book with this brand again.

We booked two suites based on pictures posted on Expedia. There are no two beds in the room . The rooms are very small .but clean . The pictures are deceiving. There is no lobby or place to sit . The price is cheap but I would not have chosen . The staff is nice . Just be careful if you expect nice or hotel amenities. It is the very minimum basic .Rooms: Small but clean . Very very minim basics overall

Great Location, rooms were okay could be fresher and cleaner. They need to do a thorough cleaning.Staff was very good. The parking lot had a couple of hugh potholes. At night you can't see these holes. Management made no attempt to fill the holes or put cones around the holes. Someone put a big box in the holes. I would not stay here again.

I’m surprised that this hotel got decent reviews on Expedia and Orbitz. That is the only reason that I stayed here. I could have saved a lot of money and just stayed at the Red Roof or something.First, they charge you a $150 deposit. This is not mentioned when you book online directly through their website. When I arrived staff was “away” from the front desk and a sign said to hit 0 on the phone. I did that and I guy came from around the corner.I get to the room which is in need of maintenance. The couch was smashed. The desk chair had rips in the fake leather. The room was just dirty. The mirror in the bathroom wasn’t even clean. There was mold on the shower head. There was mold on the caulking in the shower. Then as I was getting ready to take a shower, I realize that I’m only given ONE towel. Not a single wash cloth or hand towel or second large towel. No answer at the front desk when I called down. Once I finally get in the shower, there is NO body wash. The bottle was completely empty. The parking lot is also horrible. It’s full of potholes which make Michigan roads look good. The outside is run down and full of weeds and bricks falling off the building. The lobby is run down and needs maintenance.Save your money and go somewhere else. A motel 6 would have been better.

#1, there's nothing more disgusting that I have encountered in my entire life than having to pay for parking at a hotel. Especially having to register for their rewards program to get out of it. Screw off. Some of the staff were good but some of the other staff had attitudes... If you don't like your job then quit, no one is holding a gun to your head but yourself. Attention to detail at a hotel is everything... Some things were dirty that shouldn't be IMO - feel free to refer to my pictures. The pillows are great if you're an oompa loompa but when I asked for more, you say you'll have them later, and then I go to get them to where you don't have it... Quite the letdown. Only as a last resort will I ever stay at a place like this.

We stayed for 5 nights over the July 4th weekend. The room was spacious and clean. There is a kitchen area with a 2 burner stove, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. The sink has a disposal. The full size refrigerator has an ice maker. There are dishes, pots, and cutlery. The large desk/work area has plenty of outlets. The hotel is quiet. It was full, but never loud. The complimentary laundry facilities were clean, as was the workout room. Maid service is once a week, but you can exchange towels/linens every day if needed. I would stay there againSafety: Very safe

The hallway to the room didn't smell too pleasant and their so called gym was attached to the laundry room so there was absolutely no privacy. The housekeeping manager was too busy enjoying her time to herself in a room next door to mine and refused to get me a blanket when asked by another housekeeper. They need to update the appliances instead of using raggedy old refrigerators. Front desk staff was accommodating and friendly especially Derek and MO.
