We had a wonderful first experience at 86 plastic! Everything is either glass, biodegradable, made of plants, or recycled. Laundry, kitchen, bath, even some healthy treats and more! The person helping us was super sweet as well. Will definitely be back!

I absolutely LOVE this place. The owner is super nice and helpful and I love how each product has been carefully selected to ensure it’s environmentally friendly. I also really appreciate how involved in the community the store is. They often have park clean up events and do little free swap pop-ups for certain holidays. I wish more stores like this existed in Michigan!

The products sold are very healthy and environmentall friendly. The owner is very helpful and friendly. I bought laundry detergent, brightener and softener and gave it to a little nephew with atopic dermatitis. He reacted adversely to all other brand but was able to tolerate these products from 86 Plastic

Great store! And the lady who runs it is very helpful. I found plastic-free versions of many household and personal care items - dental floss, mouthwash, toothpaste, hand soap, laundry detergent etc. They also have bulk pasta and snack foods. Feels good to do the right thing for the planet.

The owner, Claire is always so friendly & always willing to help you fill your containers. Her products are great. My favorite is laundry detergent. You only have to use a TBL spoonful of it for each load.

Such a wide selection of products that are safer for your family and better for the environment a lot of stuff you find at the grocery store.And one of the best parts is, by supplying the container yourself, you save so much money vs purchasing the product elsewhere in its own container.The owner seems to care so much about the environment and the community, I'm so glad I have a place like this so close to home.I cant recommend it enough.

I go here regularly to refill things and I’m greatly reducing my use of plastic. I also get items for gifts, personal products cleaning and storage. Not to forget the bulk goodies for the husband. The owner is fabulous.
