As a business owner, I pride myself on excellent customer service- which is why when I choose a company for my home goods, I do my best to be informed and choose wisely. In 2015 until 2022, I would tell you that I made a wise decision with choosing patio furniture from Labadies. The problem is not with the purchasing process. The problem is with the customer service AFTER YOU PURCHASE A PRODUCT. And as I see they read these reviews, I made it VERY clear to them I would be leaving one. I keep every email and every receipt for detail. I do not believe in falsifying or exaggerating dates or details when it comes to a professional review, because these can surely affect business, and if it is not warranted, it is simply slander. My lifetime-warrantied $539 chair has broken three times since it was purchased from Labadies in 2015- all thee times have been in the last 10 months. We were told that the first time it was fixed it was "sent to the manufacturer to be fixed, with a shipping cost of $300." We thought we lucked out when Labadies picked up the shipping cost for us and didn't charge us. The second time it broke in the same spot, Labadies (in an email) told us to "take it to a welder guy we deal with named Keith on Grosse Ile to get it fixed." This was a hassle since we live in Grosse Pointe. Once we took it to Keith, he told us "Hey! I fixed this chair just a few months ago!" Hmm. We never brought this up to Labadies, and I bet they don't know we even know about this "manufacturer fix." Unfortunately, my chair broke again last week in a different spot, and Labadies is refusing to make good on the lifetime warranty. I told them I wanted a new chair at this point instead of repairs, and their response was that "the process may take some time." When I asked them for a similar rocking chair to have in the meantime while they are getting me a replacement, they refused, telling me they "have none to offer at the warehouse", only basic chairs, which they sent me photo of. If I am not mistaken, the warehouse is large with many items- like many, many items. The customer service after you purchase items here is so extremely disappointing here, when you really expect it to be top-notch, especially on the third break. My husband contacted the manufacturer, O.W. Avalon and was able to speak with them quickly, and also informed the area Sales Rep for the company to try and get this handled. My husband just went in, and he spotted many many, many, chairs- and they still refused. So sad since I am from Downriver, I'd like to continue supporting family-owned Downriver based businesses, especially post-pandemic. NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

We bought a set of outdoor wicker furniture there 22 years ago and it still looks exactly the same. The quality is unmatched. Today we purchased another set and I could not be happier. The service was excellent and the staff was great. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for outdoor quality furniture! I wouldn't go anywhere else.!!!

Drove up there today from the TOLEDO area, so glad we did. Quality of their outdoor patio furniture and umbrellas is far beyond anything we’ve seen anywhere else. Stephanie, the sales girl helped us. She was absolutely awesome and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for outdoor furniture.. definitely worth the 40 minute drive kind of odd when you follow maps and it leads to a gravel road and you think nothing could be down that road. But lo and behold their warehouse was on the left-hand side and I am so glad we went..I would like to add an update. When we opened up our umbrella, the protective cover you would use at night or when you’re not using the umbrella was ripped. We called Stephanie today and asked if they had one to exchange it with. Instead of making us drive 40 minutes she is going to send us a new one, and she’s actually going to send us one better than the one that came with the umbrella. This place is awesome. Definitely a must see for anybody looking for outdoor furniture. I cannot recommend this place enough. Stephanie you r awesome!

I purchased two sunbrella umbrellas in a charcoal gray and returned a year later to get a third. They no longer carried that color or sunbrella brand fabric. Another knock off umbrella and they were very cagey about the warranty- must keep receipts as they do not file. I mentioned that I had to sew/repair my other umbrella as well as my concrete umbrella stand has crumbled apart - crickets and a smirk... This was my third time there and I always leave feeling ripped off-They will not get any more of my hard earned money. Disappointed.

We visited this store on 4/16 based on billboard ad we have seen and we wanted to buy from local stores and not from national chains, something that we regret now. We saw the bunch of umbrellas and dinning tables and decided to chose one of each as you can see in the receipt. We told store that we need a good durable umbrella which can withstand the rough winds. We decided an umbrella and posted our enquiry about the rough winds and we were assured that the umbrella is quite durable and store even showed by moving the umbrella shade vigorously by hand and suggesting that if it gets this bad we should just close the umbrella and we will be fine. We paid for the umbrella and dinning table and thanked the store and promised that we will tell our friends about this good store and service but hardly we dreamt in the way we are doing now. The umbrella and dinning table was delivered either on 4/22 or 4/23, one of these two days. We did not get the chance to use it because of the constant wet and cold weather. We finally got a chance to open it briefly on 5/5. It was a mild breeze and max sustained wind was 13mph as you can see in the image attached. We had kids back from the school but thankfully not in the patio at that time. My wife saw the umbrella falling down and was waffled why and how. I have attached the image of the same for reference. We took some pictures and put the umbrella back up. Next day (on 5/6) we called the Labadies Furniture and also sent the email with pics and receipt. On phone we were told that they cannot take the umbrella back and but someone will call next day and was suggested that may be we installed it improperly until we reminded that umbrella was installed professionally by Labadies. Then we asked that if they don't see anything wrong with the installation will you take it back because clearly it cannot withstand the mildest of the gust. We were told that once Labadies have taken a look "we will take it from there" and we took it in a extremely positive way. Again no one called back to set up and appointment and we called back on Tuesday (9/5). We spoke to Sean (pardon if I get the spelling wrong) and set up an appointment for (5/11). Two very good and helpful boys came to our place and completely opened and inspected the umbrella and satisfied that nothing was wrong with the installation. They even agree to take the umbrella back and pulled the truck back to the service road but I suggested about speaking to Sean before they take the umbrella back. That is when things started to unfold in unimaginable way. Sean transferred to the sales lady and she told us that owner of the business is heading out and has said no to return and cannot talk as he is heading out for a funeral. So I requested the lady will you take the umbrella back and she said that the owner has said no but he might change his mind once you speak to him. I still felt some hope left. I called the owner today and asked about the umbrella and was told that since we have posted a negative feedback on facebook that deal is off. So much for free speech. But by now I have realized that the deal was off as soon as we paid for the umbrella. BTW our negative feedback has been deleted on Labadies facebook page and email id blocked and you can see only glowing positive feedbacks. I am keeping my fingers crossed for dinning table as it is 4 times the price of Umbrella. But if something is to be found wrong we already know what the response of this business will be. I have learnt my lesson, I will buy from Costco or maybe even Amazon. Worst that can happen is we may have to return the product back and can return the product back.

Very impressed with their quality and customer service. We ordered a lot of stuff online from Frontgate and I was so disappointed with their quality. We ended up sending all of it back and went into Labadies. We worked with Stephanie and saw how much nicer their quality was. They even delivered the next day! We love our furniture!

We just recently purchased a new outdoor dining set and couldn’t be happier! The two gentlemen that made the delivery were very friendly and helpful. They even removed our old extremely heavy dining set for us. We were also in a time crunch due to an upcoming party and they were very accommodating and made the delivery happen so we had it in time for the party! All in all a great experience!

Horrible costumer service. Not acknowledged by any of the employees. No one offered any help. Would not recommend this place to anyone. I went in to purchase new patio furniture and had a horrible experience was definitely surprised to experience this in a place that’s talked about so highly.

We had a great experience today purchasing a dining and patio outdoor set today at Labadies with the help of Stephanie. Service was excellent and the store has a ton of quality products to choose from. All staff interactions were great, knowledgeable and funny; nobody was pushy and we were asked if we needed water or anything. We will absolutely be buying from them again!

I would highly recommend Labadie's Patio Furniture. I live in the Cleveland Ohio area but I stopped in to Labadie's with my mom while I was visiting my family who lives nearby just looking for some ideas of patio furniture. However, I fell in love with the incredible selection of furniture that they had available and the staff was so helpful & accommodating. After I looked at many furniture stores back near where I live in Ohio, I ended up driving back to Labadie's because the inventory of available furniture and the quality couldn't be matched. Stephanie went above & beyond to help answer all of my questions and to track down everything she could to make sure that I had all of the pieces I wanted in stock. After waiting so long to have our massive patio project completed, we were very eager to finally get to enjoy our furniture & not have to wait months to have high quality furniture arrive, and Labadie's was able to make that happen. I will definitely be back to their store for future purchases, and my family has also made multiple purchases from them as well. Thank you so much Stephanie & team!!

Can’s say enough about Labadie’s attitude and customer service! They asked if it would be ok to deliver our patio furniture later in the day than usual as they have been slammed. We were great with it and lo and behold 10:20 pm Jim and Stephanie (who don’t normally do delivery!) showed up and set us up!! Great company of great people!!

Jim was a pleasure to work with. He helped us get our new table, chairs, sofa, umbrella and fire pit. Labadies inventory is amazing. Tons of choices to pick from. 2nd time we have driven almost two hours to work with them

The customer service was great Stephany was very knowledgeable, and took her time to show us how the umbrellas worked and did not rush us. The showroom was filled with quality furniture, and would definitely. I have already sent my friends go there!
